Midnight Express

Travelled to the Netherlands and absolutely adored this room. It was the perfect balance for us, we adored the set and hoe the story unfolded. There was one puzzle which was popped open which limited our progress at one phase but that was rectified. Our games master Lieselof was exceptional. She was so helpful and very committed to her job. She gave great recommendations and took full care of us whilst we were there. If you can have her as your GM!

We played Midnight Express at Escape World in Utrecht as a group of 4, including one new addition to our usual team. The dynamic worked really well, and that definitely elevated the experience for us. The room is one of their newest, and it shows. The decor, lighting, and sound effects were nicely polished and really brought the train setting to life. One of the spaces was just the right size for a group of 4, any more might’ve felt tight. The puzzles were enjoyable overall, though a couple felt like they were solved more by luck than logic. Still, the game flowed well, and we had a lot of fun. Recommended for all players, especially those who appreciate a well-executed theme.
