Straight forward, linear, simple room. Very 1st-gen. I think there were a total of 8 puzzles that either gave a standard # or word answer for locks. Was done in 30 minutes, and that included letting our 8 year old do most of the work. Nothing wrong with the room, for a single-room gen 1 experience, should be cheaper though.

With 29 games under your belt, it makes total sense that this felt very straightforward and linear for you — finishing with over 30 minutes left is no small feat! The Fortune Teller is intentionally designed as our classic, beginner-friendly single-room experience with simple number/word locks. It’s built to be approachable for families, first-timers, and less experienced players. We’re glad to hear your 8-year-old got to take the lead — that’s exactly the kind of room we wanted this to be. Regarding pricing, all of our rooms (including The Fortune Teller) are currently $39 per player. We keep a consistent price across the board so every group has access to the full experience without tiered rates. That said, not every group finishes with 30+ minutes remaining — many of our beginner and family groups use most or all of the hour. We put a lot of time and care into designing every room, so we’d genuinely be interested in hearing more about why you feel this one deserves a lower price. Thanks again for the honest feedback.
