Oops! You’ve just woken up to find yourself and your roommates passed out by the campus fountain. Man, things must have gotten wild last night after the Es Ka Pi Fraternity party. Meanwhile, chaos reigns in your dorm: snack bags everywhere, drinks spilled, dirty clothes scattered, and… is that a horse mask?! Before you can make sense of it, your phone buzzes—a reminder from your RA that Parents Weekend is today, and your folks will be here in an hour! With the dorm's strict “No Mess” policy and expulsion on the line, you’ve got 60 minutes to cover your tracks, hide the chaos, and make it look like last night never happened...

My wife and I made a 4hr roadtrip to play all three of the rooms at The Exit Games. Based on the reviews and having over 120 rooms under our belt, I had high expectations. All three of their rooms lived up to the hype. I really enjoyed all of the rooms. They are all so fun but also so different that it is difficult to select a favorite. We were only a group of two and we were able to escape all the rooms. Our GM Riley was awesome. She had a very energetic personality and really got into the characters to introduce the rooms. This room took me back to college except for I never cleaned my room in college. Lol. The theme was great and the puzzles really fit the theme. All of the puzzles made sense but were challenging enough to make it fun. I highly recommend this and the other rooms here.
No
No live actors in the room but our GM got into character to introduce the room which added to the experience.

Exit Games knocks it out of the park again. The Princess Street location rooms are just on a whole different level, which is incredible given even their original location on Front had some great rooms as well. One thing that really sets Exit Games above others is what I'd call "commitment to the bit", the buy-in from the GM, the intro, and the set-up are all incredibly well done. This whole thing doesn't work if you are just thrust into a room with a video on a TV screen. But lets also talk about the theming; this room and Hidden Needle Tattoo Parlor are some of the best cohesively themed rooms I've ever done. Nothing pops out at you off the bat because everything MAKES SENSE to be there. Puzzles are crafted from things that are naturally found in the room, what is a common pitfall for mid-tier rooms I do is that puzzles are forced into the setting and thus stick out like a sore thumb and often don't even make sense thematically, this is NOT the case here. Do yourself a favor and play this and Hidden Needle, and rest easy that until Exit Games puts out a new room, you've played some of the best in the country.
Great puzzles, nothing too hard or obtuse, but often repackaged within the theme so not quite as obvious as you would expect. Some hidden aspects that only reveal themselves to you later which is incredibly satisfying and well done.
I felt like I was in a really well decorated dorm room. The size was perfect, the furniture and set-up was great, and nothing felt out of place. Everything there I could see existing in a dorm room from college, and each of the "transitional" rooms also were just incredibly well decorated and themed. Exit Games are certainly in the top 1% in theming, and it makes their rooms so much more impressive.
Jacob was fantastic. As I stated in my overall review, it truly does take full commitment from your GM for a room like this to work. We loved the interaction with him, the roleplay/acting, and the hint system as always, even if we only got to utilize it once (more a riddle answer than a direct "do this").
Yes
Cute, funny, and memorable. Really appreciate a room that isn't just "you're locked in here!" because then you have to explain just a bit too much of why someone locked you in there and why there are a series of puzzles to escape. Needing to clean your room and do your homework before parents weekend and adapt to changing circumstances quickly felt entirely natural. Puzzles were more of a "To-Do", you could easily accept the "why" of each step along the way.
Medium
Nothing terribly difficult, but that doesn't mean they were not satisfying or clever. After 50+ escape rooms and countless video games it becomes rather difficult to find something that truly stumps us, but blending puzzles into the environment is the one way to really ramp up the difficulty while increasing the immersion.
High tech
Leaning high tech, but definitely a fair share of mechanical puzzles. Less on the key + lock aspect though, which is always nice.

Loved this so much! It was extremely fun having to figure everything out and work as a team to get everything done in time! Our game master Isabelle was fantastic and will definitely be trying to have her as our game master in the future! The entire set up of the rooms was also amazing and felt very immersive. Overall everything was absolutely amazing and top tier!
The game play was super fun with multiple rooms and so many different puzzles to crack it was so much fun
It honestly looked like we were on a college campus in a dorm room and all the sounds and lights and everything we had to do was very immersive and awesome!
Our gm was amazing! We had Isabelle and she was a super convincing RA but also super helpful when I came to use needing hints and she was just overall very kind and an amazing game master!

There is a parking deck not to far from the escape rooms but there is also street parking, we just found it easier to park in the deck and walk to the exit games building.

The Exit Games always knocks it out of the park! Having originally done their Florida location with their 90 minutes escape rooms, we were excited to try their NC 60 minute rooms. It did not disappoint! We escaped with a little over 10 minutes left. All of the puzzles were fun without feeling like just a standard key or code. The theming was really fun and consistent throughout the entire experience. Definitely worth making a trip for!

I really enjoyed this room! It was super fun and the set design was awesome. One of the best I’ve done in 2025. Really excited for what this company does next!
This was a really fun game! I’ve been really excited to play it ever since it was released and it did not disappoint! The puzzles flowed well and there wasn’t a dull moment in the game.
It really did look like a couple of college students that had a little too much fun the other night lol
Izzy was amazing! As a person that has worked in the escape room industry for 8 years, she was one of the best!
Yes
The story was really well done! I was completely immersed, and the puzzles reflected the story which is always super fun to see.
Medium
It did say it was a 9/10 difficulty on the website. My husband and I usually play escape rooms alone but brought two friends along for the ride on this one so having more people and being experienced could have made it feel medium to us. Both me and my husband thought the puzzles were challenging but not so challenging that it was impossible to solve on our own without help. We were able to complete the room with zero help
High tech
It was a little bit of both. There were just a couple physical locks but a lot of it was maglocks and keypads!

2 could do this room, we had 4 for this adventure and we were all able to do puzzles but 2 people would be able to do this room as well.

This is family friendly! There is one part of the game that does eludes to “college students”drinking but that was it.

Man, was this room great! Exit Games has been on a roll with every game since White Rabbit with Hidden Needle, No Vacancy and this all as must-dos when you are in the area. Don’t be deceived by the name. You might think this is going to be your typical college dorm room game but it’s so much more! No spoilers, but trust me when I say the set is brilliant and a multi-room experience where there’s a lot of brilliant rooms even before you get to your dorm! Like many of their other rooms, they have a live actor to introduce you to the room and he was perfect in the role! Throw in some classic 80’s college movie nods and this is an experience you should not miss!
