I really loved the puzzle design in this room. It blends virtual gameplay and real-world interactions perfectly, and the transitions between the two are incredibly smooth. They actually recreated the digital scenes and props in real life, which makes the whole experience feel very immersive. I highly recommend this room to escape room enthusiasts. It’s genuinely difficult — easily in the top five hardest rooms I’ve played. The only downside is that the physical space isn’t very large, and because parts of the game require operating a computer, I think groups of two or three will get the best overall experience.

I love the idea of having a video game blending with the real world and how one can impact the other, great idea, there’s something there and unique for sure. However the game takes place 75% on a computer screen tucked into a small corner of a small room. Thus your room experience is either a) playing a fairly annoying “click on a lot of stuff a bunch” video game OR b) watching someone play a video game. Both positions felt equally unfun. By the time the physical room got more interesting we were both kind of done with the experience and running out of time so we definitely wish the story ramped up quicker. I would love to see this idea tackled again, maybe in a more stimulating/expansive setting. Also Inblack has switched to being public rooms instead of private bookings so I doubt I’ll be back as I’m not interested in that escape room model.
