I think anytime you tell the players the locks are finicky, it's time to buy a new $10 lock and just replace it. That's just one of too many complaints over here to leave this game neutral let alone thumbs up or heart.

The puzzles were non inventive. I hate red herrings and there are a lot of them. Everything was so linear. And the hint was incorrect when we finally asked for the clue because the sound clue was so short and played so quickly we couldn’t catch it. There was no exciting solves- only frustration. The customer service was very good, the design of the room is bad.

Linear, ambiguous puzzles, having to solve a near double digit amount of letters for a word with ZERO direction. Good luck if you can’t unscramble a ton of letters. Noises overlap each other. Multiple red herrings. I wouldn’t ever suggest someone do this room.

fun but quite tough. our group of 4 escaped with 1 second left, but that was only after the GM generously gave us an extra five minutes. lots of puzzles and nonlinear. i recommend this room for more experienced players!

Gameplay

mostly nonlinear, although there are certain puzzles that must be completed as soon as you get the clue

Joseph was our awesome host and we are happy to keep getting him as our game master after all these years haha. This room is my favorite by the company so far, the props and puzzles were well done and challenging but not impossible. I recommend you do this room, but it actually wouldn’t hurt to do the other two rooms in the trilogy first. It isn’t necessary (we hadn’t done either of them and played this room first), but since this is the hardest and final room it would serve as good warm-up lol.

Gameplay

Pretty non-linear

This room had some really cool props/puzzles

Joseph is awesome!

Yes

Being the third room in a trilogy of escape rooms, we thought it was cool how they incorporated elements from the first two rooms.

The Fortune Teller was definitely one of the more challenging rooms for my boyfriend and I, as we didn’t escape and were only 60% done with the room. However, we had a blast and I loved the complexity and variety of the puzzles. Highly recommend!

The finale of the Devlin trilogy. I’ve only played Devlin Manor and not Carnage Cabin, so I can’t speak to the story, but Fortune Teller as a stand-alone was solid. Devlin focused on the storytelling and cinematic moments, while Fortune was a more puzzle first experience. Neither are better, however I would say I prefer Devlin. In either case, if you’re looking for a difficult puzzle room, definitely book Fortune Teller. You'll have a blast!

The last part of the Devlin Trilogy does not disappoint! Venture into the realm of the psychic as you try to lift the curse plaguing the you and the Devlin Family. This room is very non-linear to start and gets more linear as you progress while still maintaining a good about of non-linearity throughout. This room is perfect for a small group that loves to divide and conquer, as there are enough puzzles for a few people to be working on simultaneously without needing to overlap spheres of context. Amazing room with a super cool ambience deepened by the variety of puzzles with unique cause and effect sequences.
