After playing over 70 rooms, I have finally and sadly given my first thumbs down. While the theming was quite solid, evoking the look and vibe of a submarine, this room didn’t pass the grade for me because of its poor puzzle design, flow, and virtually non-existent signposting, leading to a tedious and frustrating experience. While we still cleared it in time without hints, this might be the first time we didn’t have much fun in an escape room.

Far out, this just might be one of my favourite escape rooms! The aesthetics are incredible, not just of the room and set but the puzzles and props are all perfectly in keeping with the theme. Super high tech with a credible story and narratives that carry you along. You really will forget that you are in the centre of Sydney, for one hour I was convinced that I was in Captain Nemo’s submarine. Totally awesomeQ!
