The rooms at this establishment just seem to get better and better. They are so creative, detailed, thoughtful, surprising... I could go on and on! I can't tell you how many times we gasped in surprise at all of the uniquely revealed clues. I love the storyline - even though it portrayed the pumpkin king a little on the meaner side (in 'The Nightmare before Christmas', he was not meant to be mean, just misunderstood π). I felt truly immersed in the experience and there is an exciting ending to conclude the story if 'one' chooses wisely and can keep a secret. The game hosts are very helpful and friendly. They do require 4 players perhaps because there is a lot to uncover but I think we could have done it with just 2. Either way, it's an incredibly fun room that holds many unique experiences as do each of their other rooms. I can't wait for their next escape room to come out!

This was definitely one of the best escape rooms that Iβve ever done! The game was big with multiple large rooms full of thoughtful puzzles, and it was super immersive. The puzzles were challenging, but not too difficult that you got completely stuck. The staff at the Locked Inn is also so kind and helpful, and will give you a clue if you end up getting stumped. Without spoilers, thereβs a unique plot line thatβs part of this room that was such a fun twist. The room itself is also well decorated and smelled like christmas, making it much more immersive. It was both christmassy and spooky, and I had so much fun doing this game with my family.
The game flowed well and had lots for everyone to do
One of the best game atmospheres ever! There were props, smells, and decorations, but nothing felt cheap. It was very immersive.
The Locked Inn owner and game masters are all so kind and welcoming.

The theme alone was so unique, and there was a plot line in the game that Iβve never seen done before.
Great set up and plot. Thereβs definitely a clear storyline.
Hard
I got stuck a few times, but the staff did a nice job of guiding us through the game.
High tech
There were definitely some cool high tech effects in game that were surprising!
I think 4 was a great number if youβve played a couple rooms before
Not scary
Overall itβs not scary, but there is one part where I got a little scared. There is a moment where you need to go into a pitch black room.
The game theme is kid friendly, and there are a good amount of puzzles that would be fun for younger people. If youβre old enough to watch the βpumpkin kingβ movie, then this room is probably playable for you. Some puzzles are a bit challenging though, so maybe 12 or 13 is my recommendation.

Everything worked well, especially for being one of the earlier groups to play. I didnβt notice anything broken or malfunctioning.

Itβs easily accessible for people with mobility aids, but there was some bending over. There were maybe two puzzles that were color coded, and one that involved hearing. Overall though, I think this experience would be enjoyable and playable for people with impairment issues.

Thereβs so much to do! We always love Locked Inn rooms. Similar to their 1985 room, you will be busy. I thought the puzzles were fair, though a couple could use a little reworking in my opinion (especially a clunky one involving a list of candies). Group size matters a lot in this room too. Youβll need a group of at least 4 to be able to complete everything, but at some points in the game flow there might be only one thing to work on. This turns a portion of the group into spectators since there might not physically be enough room for everyone to participate on the task at hand. But later on itβs all hands on deck, so donβt attempt this with too few people. Without spoiling anything, I used all 5 senses in this room. We especially loved the distinct Christmas smell when we first walked in. The vibes were awesome. Kudos to Locked Inn for good puzzles and good prop design. They get a lot of good buzz for their Room 1985 experience but I personally preferred this room. I really hope people book this room all year around because itβs not a holiday pop-up, itβs a challenge that enthusiasts should flock to.
