Can you hack the heist and dismantle this cyber criminal network for good? Inspired by former hacker, Nitr0, who attempted to orchestrate a multimillion dollar cyber heist years back, criminal network ‘Cipher’ has emerged with an online message boasting plans to execute what could be the most catastrophic cyber takedown in American history. Their target is a digital vault safeguarding a cryptocurrency fortune valued at over 100 billion US dollars, and with a recently developed AI-based program capable of breaching the vault's firewall, Cipher now has access to the fortune for 60 minutes. As elite members of a specialized FBI Task Force extensively trained in cyber security, you have traced a lead to the hackers' hideout, but you quickly realize that you’ve walked right into their trap and are now locked in their domain with damning evidence pointing at you and no obvious way out. Taking full advantage of your remote location, you move fast and recover valuable time to devise a plan and find an escape route. But the question remains: do you have what it takes to uncover the kill code once adopted by Nitr0 and regain control of the fortune inside the digital vault? Can you navigate Cipher's intricate security systems, execute the shutdown, and dismantle the entire cyber criminal network before it's too late?

Fun office computer hacking style room, except instead of hacking in, your goal is to stop the hacker. There are a mix of logical puzzles and searching. We had some issues with a lock and code that is a bit misleading, but our awesome GM Molly helped us through it. (and as a bonus, she even showed us around the upcoming rooms which was awesome!) She was also very helpful with another hint regarding a harder searching puzzle. That said, it’s not a super hard room, but it may stump newer players. The final task wasn’t really puzzling, and it was a shame that somehow it broke on us. Turns out the real hackers were Microsoft Windows all along! Again, awesome GM came in and fixed the issue. She also told us that although this is a “2.0” version of their older TH3 COD3 room, this version is not the same, and it also features a different setting. I haven’t yet played the older room, so I’m interested in checking out what’s different for comparison’s sake. If you’ve already done the older room, this may still be worth checking out if you like the theme. This isn’t my favorite Escapology room, but it’s still pretty solid (l33t even), and will have you screaming “WHAT’S THE CODE?!”
