Every year for Christmas you struggle with what gifts to get, especially for the kids in your world. But this year, you know exactly what they want: An Ultra Man action figure. It’s THE hottest toy on the market and pretty much the only thing on their list this year. You know that if you can get them one, you’ll be the hero of the holiday season. There’s just one problem: everywhere is sold out. You’ve checked all the big box stores but no matter where you look, you can’t seem to find a single one! Finally, after hours and hours of searching, you find a rather shady character who is selling Ultra Man dolls…at 5 times the normal price! As you begin to look into this scam, you realize that the person charging an arm and a leg for these Ultra Man dolls is the store manager for a local toy store, Yuletide Toys. It’s clear that the store manager has been stashing toys for himself and selling them at a high markup during the holiday season to line his pockets with the cash. This cannot happen. You decide that the only way to do something nice this holiday season is to get a little naughty. You’re going to break into Yuletide Toys after hours and recover one of those stolen dolls for yourself (and the kids). Will your holiday heist be a success or will you be left with nothing under the tree?

This is a really cute and cool room 😎 great for families. The storyline is neat and goes well with all of the puzzles. There are some unique ones that are simple but work perfectly 👌🏻

Incredibly joyful room full of creative puzzles that really embody the holiday spirit anytime of year. I felt like a kid again.

This is a neat escape experience from the very start. We got stuck several times, but once we got a clue, we were fine. I’m just not sure how we were supposed to come to those conclusions on our own. So it didn’t flow very well to me. I do really love the Christmas theme and the story. Reminds me of the movie “Jingle all the way.”

Fun room with a lot of interesting elements. Staff were extremely quick with hints (usually we ask for no hints but forgot due to the unusual beginning of the room), so something to note to them if you don't love hints. Puzzles were great and well-themed; however, some things had to be manipulated after completing the puzzle to access them. It wasn't always clear what was planned to open, so we had completed puzzles a couple of times and were waiting for something to happen when we had push or pull on it to make it work. The center platform in the room and I did not get-along, as I smashed my shin into the bottom every time I had to interact with it. I'm shorter, so it was hard to reach anything without getting my legs very close to it. May be a unique to me experience, but definitely watch your legs! It was very warm in the room, something we haven't noticed in other rooms. All of that being said, one of the strongest Christmas-themed rooms we've played. Game host was very nice and very respectful of our no-hint request once we asked them for it.

A couple of things had to be pushed or pulled even after being released from the puzzle, and the center platform was a little difficult to maneuver around. Room also was quite warm.

So glad we did this one. We loved the theme, and is probably our 2nd favorite at MER (so far). If you love Christmas and toys, do this one!
