Not exactly an escape room as much as it is an outdoor ARG. You interact with 2 live actors minimally. Most of the game is guided by instructions sent to you on your phone. The design of this game is quite creative in that it is definitely a great business model as groups can start minutes after another (due to limited interaction with actors, which would be the bottleneck here). As a non-LA native, I loved exploring Little Tokyo and learning about the various historical spots that I would have simply walked past if not for this game. The puzzles are on the very-easy side. It's mostly walking from one place to another. In 90-degree summer heat, this is greatly appreciated. My team never felt stuck on any puzzle. The personality of the people you interact with are fun, especially the automated agent that you text back and forth with. It is IMO the highlight of this experience. The tech is well-refined, responsive, and central to the experience. I have to admit though that the price tag is a bit high for what I think the experience provides. The current pricing model charges a static price per person so the bigger your group is, the more you pay (linearly). The price is good for a 2-3 player experience. Any more and you lose out on some of the experience and you'd be overpaying. Overall, a fun light-hearted experience that I'd recommend.

This deserves more love! Had a great time playing with my 8 year old. The locations are fun, the story is great, and it turns literally every other human being on the street into a potential target/player. Which was super cool. This made me see a neighborhood I thought I knew like the back of my hand in an exciting new way. Even more, we think about the game everytime we're back there. We still point at the building where the agent was, and we played a year ago! If I had one critique its that you spend a fair amount on time on your phone. Tons of potential here, cant wait for new games from these creators.

We ADORED this experience. It's so unique and fun. What a great way to explore Little Tokyo. Both actors are a delight and were happy to play with us as well as my 9 year old. I also think it's so refreshing to have comedy in the immersive space - and this is super funny. A+++

Great outdoor escape room exploring Little Tokyo. Played the game with two phones in our family of 4 (2 adults, a teenager and a 9 year old). Good mix of puzzles and finding environmental clues. Would highly recommend.
