Batman: Wszyscy Kłamią [Batman: Everybody Lies]

This Batman game uses the Detective board game series’ system, in which players use cards and resources to follow leads related to murder mysteries in order to solve the crimes. The crimes in the 4 stories are all related and part of an overarching story. It’s an interesting solvable mystery with good twists and fun, albeit sparing, uses of the familiar DC characters. You even get the role as one of them, although you can’t be Batman. In fact, Batman himself is barely part of the adventure. The big caveat is that the game is discontinued. And while you can probably still buy the game somewhere, it will be hard to play without the official accompanying browser app that allows you to access documents, answer questions, and get the endings. The license probably ran out for the company. It’s a real shame that Portal Games’ board games depended on online components that make the board game literally unplayable when they disappear… This crazy scheme could only have been concocted by the Joker!
