Cornstalkers: Lost in the Maize

This is one of my favorite rooms ever! The theming and detail were fantastic. You can tell when they put a lot of effort into a room.

A really amazing game. Huge diversity of puzzles, with some really imaginative ones. The set is incredibly immersive. Several legitimate jump scares (which I enjoyed!). As usual with Escape Ventures games, the kindness and professionalism of the staff helped to make it a wonderful experience. In my top 5 of all time.

I really liked the look and feel of this room, I really felt like I was at a fall fair. The puzzles were not overly complicated which helps when it's dark and spooky. I felt this room had a few similarities to another popular Florida room which is what makes that room so likable which was a bit of a "oh no" moment for me. The actor really makes this room fun and different.

Escape Ventures does it again with (imo) their best room yet. We finished in enough time that our GM gave us a back stage tour (thank you!) and we found out that this room is dynamic, meaning that if your group is small or struggling, they can remove puzzles to ensure you finish. Something to be aware of: if you come in with a group of 2 (like we did) they typically remove a few puzzles automatically as they don't expect you will get through them all with just 2 people. We had just finished Operation Arctic Storm with 20 minutes left on the clock and based on that performance they opted to keep all the puzzles in for us. Just something to be aware of if you are a very experienced escape room duo, you may want to let them know so they can keep some early puzzles in for you. I typically tip my GMs, but you should DEFINITELY consider tipping this GM if you don't usually do it. The amount of work they will put in for you is staggering. James was absolutely incredible! I am a total wuss in scary rooms and while I absolutely did scream (a couple times), I had a total blast. The puzzles were so well done. Even the scary parts were super fun. One of the best rooms I've ever done. Worth the trip!

What a fun (scary) room! Excellent puzzles, a really fantastic actor interactions. We did this as a team of four, which seemed to be a good number for the space. Having dedicated safe and not safe spaces really helped enjoyment of the room. Our host, Ashley, killed it from the get go. She let us do a room debrief after the experience and I was super impressed with how much she has to juggle on her to own to make the experience work.

I cannot even begin to find the words for this one. It was beyond anything we’d been expecting. We are continuously blown away by how much passion and detail Escape Ventures puts into their rooms. We’ve been waiting soooo long to do this one, and we had SO much fun!! It was so well worth the 2 and a half hour drive!! Our GM, Ashley was top notch. She absolutely crushed her role and immediately made us feel immersed!! We had a new team member on our roster today, (it was his first escape room) and I think it’s safe to say that the bar has been set extremely high for him!

This has now gone to the top of my list as my favorite escape room. The sets/story line were great and loved the scary aspect

This was such an amazing experience! Loved the variety of puzzles and the theme & set were great. The 90 min flies by and the spookiness of it all kept everyone moving at a quick pace. In retrospect it was more spooky than scary, but in the moment it definitely felt scarier 🙈 I would recommend 4-5 participants as the sweet spot for this room. Thank you Michael for being an incredible host and for answering so many of our questions afterwards!
