Rock 'N' Ransom [prev. Snatched]

Really fun room! Especially if you’re a fan of rock or play in band. As a rock musician myself I thoroughly enjoyed the immersive elements and tributes to rock/pop sprinkled throughout the experience. The puzzles were also pretty creative as well. I noticed one review saying puzzles were illogical…there is 1-2 puzzles I thought didn’t connect as smoothly as I had hoped but it wasn’t a big deal (we’ve experienced far worse) and for the most part my wife and I had little trouble flowing our way through this room and logical leaps/reaches weren’t too much an issue for us. Perhaps me being a musician also helped in regards to intuition. Although this room is rated more difficult than Cursed, all in all, we found it quite easier and escaped with plenty of time to spare, but don’t let that fool you into thinking it was “easy” or the puzzles were few- as with cursed, there’s plenty of things to do here. Another quality room from this venue. In regards to the venue just wanted to show some love- we were told by some others not to expect high production value from this venue and that it was low budget so I set my expectations a bit low, but was pleasantly surprised to find that the design, effects and production were pretty solid for a small business escape room. If you’re looking at the Morty ratings and figuring a visit here but are on the fence, I know how you feel! But having finally trekked out here…I say do it. Their two rooms are quality and defo worth it! I also hear they are working on a third room that is 90’s culture based and we’re looking fwd to coming back when that’s opened! 👍

I’m giving this a no rating because I can’t give it a thumbs up but there’s effort so I don’t want to give it a thumbs down. My biggest issue was logic, but this room also suffers from lack of flow and lack of space. The lack of logic in several puzzles made this room very frustrating. It is “hard” not because of difficult puzzles but because of illogical puzzles.

My wife and I have done over 50 escape rooms and this is one of my favorite we’ve ever done. The room flowed well, wasn’t what we expected and was so much fun! The owner stayed and talked to us for about 15 minutes or so, very nice lady. Can’t recommend this room enough!
