Museum Heist

I am always inclined to give you the benefit of the doubt when reviewing an experience. This was actually the second experience here. My wife and I got hooked on escape rooms about 2 years ago so we have tried many in the Upstate. This is the only one that has been disappointing. There is a sense of doing just enough to have a workable escape room. The insult to injury factor is that their pricing is significantly higher than nearby escape rooms that invest in amazing details. If they have openings on the weekend when everyone else in booked, buyer beware.

My wife and I played this room and personally did not enjoy the room. The puzzles were not linear and the print of one of puzzles was so tiny that we couldn't read it even when we used our smartphone to take a zoomed in picture. The GM had to read the puzlle text out to us. After doing so many other high-quality designed rooms at other places, this room (and the others at this location) seemed old and outdated.

This was my first breakout room experience! I still remember specific things that were unique and impressive about the room!
