Doomsday Disaster!

two of us had fun :) puzzles flowed smoothly

First room way too dark. Needs a flashlight...we shouldn't have to ask for one. The dim light provided doesn't reach some of the areas you have to read from. Also, it needs a timer inside so you can pace yourself. Other than that, the theme was cute and different. Setting is okay, you can see some wires sticking out in different places but maybe it's part of the theme? Not sure. Not our favorite game at this place, but still good to experience.

what a beautiful room!! the environment was sooo good. the pressure, the music ugh really captured the fallout kinda vibe perfectly. the flow was wonderful, everything made sense and the puzzles were a good mix of funky and challenging

Wish there was a game clock to keep track of our time

Suchhhhhh a fun play oh my goodness, aesthetically, this game hit all the marks for me. The puzzles themselves were also incredibly fun to solve, and intuitive :) The puzzles, as a team of 2, were conquerable, but a plenty!!! Which is what we love lol. I didn’t expect the room to go on as long as it did and I was happy to be challenged by the puzzles having done a lot of rooms. Our game master was attentive - though we did ask for a hint on two occasions, they didn’t answer us - but we understood the puzzles after a minute of critical thinking, which may be why they hesitated to give us help. All in all, fun play, extremely themed puzzles, and the reveals gave us a really good feeling of accomplishment :))

Very fun room. Very immersive while you’re in there. We wouldn’t say the room was hard but it does have a lot of things to do! We did the room just 2 of us and escaped with 1min left! 😅

I think overall the game would be extremely successful after they work out a few kinks - it’s their newest room, so I’m sure they need to see where they might need to add a little bit more clues or hints as to what to do with some items; otherwise, it was really well done and fun!

If you’ve completed Doomsday in Sanford, don’t waste your time or money because we definitely wasted both. We were told during our last visit here that this new room was NOT the same as the other company, and it was almost an exact replica. Not only that, but there were some tech issues on top of that which just completely ruined the experience for us. Baiting players to spend money here by assuring them that it’s a different experience than Sanford is giving greed over integrity. Not cute.

One of our new favorite rooms! Just opened last week, so it’s on amazing condition. Perfect combo of physical and digital puzzles, amazing GM John gave us just the right amount of clues, and fun music played throughout to groove too. Only issue is that many items were glued down when they should be screwed down, leading to us accidentally removing a few props.
