Island Escape

I got my mom a couple of gift certificates for Billtown Escape Rooms for Christmas - enough that both of my parents, and my husband and I - and our older daughter could go together. First of all, we had David greeting us and helping us. He was friendly and helpful. He gave us a choice of whether we wanted guidance based on how much time we had left (to keep us on track or not), and we said we did. That ended up being a great choice, because his timely hints did help a ton - especially a couple of times when I felt something was important, but we weren’t making headway. We did their Jungle crash themed room, and it was ridiculously fun. There was a ton to solve, and the puzzles were well placed and also varied in type. I loved how they made certain solves relate to other puzzles which then helped to solve those other puzzles. We made it out with about 2 minutes to spare. Haha! Cutting it close. But we all felt like it was an amazing room! We are looking forward to trying their new one in a few months too!! We ALL heartily recommend it!!! VERY well done and put together…complete with lots of sound and lighting effects that added to the feel. Even got a souvenir photo.

Great room with a trapped-on-an-island theme. Plenty of engaging puzzles that keep you thinking, and the high tech elements were impressive. Clearly designed with a sharp eye and technical savvy.
