One of the best things about the games at The Great Escape is that once or twice a room they have an element that makes you go 'oh that's clever'. You can see the love for the games even in how clues are given. There's a moment involving a parrot in this room that has really stuck in my mind in the months since playing. It was a real 'oh that's fun!' situation. Only complaint with Bank Heist is that it ends a bit abruptly, but up until that moment it's a lot of fun.

Maybe it’s just me but the Bank Heist theme can feel a bit sterile and basic and this was unfortunately no different. A pretty bleak office space to begin with and then a clean sort of vault area, it wasn’t bad, just doing its best with what it is. Mostly logic/traditional style puzzles so the flow was pretty straightforward but a lil uninspired. Some cute little touches like Jeremy’s safety deposit box but there could be a bit more. Not the best but far far from the worst.

270 escape rooms

Lock boxes, a big vault, a diamond to steal, all the elements necessary for a successful heist, and heist we did. While this is in essence a one-room escape room, Bank Heist is still designed in a way that allows for physical progression which is a nice touch. The puzzles fit the theme well but weren’t necessarily as satisfying as other experiences in the venue, while I really enjoyed the variety I just wish there was more to them. Quite a short lived play through, it’s hard to say whether this is due to the lack of content or the lower difficulty rating, either way it’s still a solid room and made with plenty of love. Lana was our GM all day and did a wonderful job of running multiple rooms at once while still finding time to crack jokes with us. Legend. 7.3/10 🔏🧩
