Such an amazing passion project, really enjoyed the whole experience, getting into character and working together to solve the puzzles, which were a good variety. Awesome host, too!

Yeehaw! The Wild West awaits…

This is a huge room chock full of puzzles. It was a lot for 2 people (but achievable) and the town of the game felt fully realized with a lot of whimsical moments. The game creator is one of the nicest you’ll meet, and I can’t wait to see what they’ll make next

This was a chaotic game that can probably support a larger player count than normal due to its parallelizable nature. The set is generally very nice, though multiple elements felt out of place in a Wild West theme and broke immersion. Puzzles made sense, but there isn't enough gating -- many puzzles are visible around the space, and some of them require other things to be solved first, but it's not always clear if there's a dependency or if players just need to search harder. Being clearer about what's currently solvable and what still needs prerequisites would have made things a lot smoother. Don't feel bad about buying hints. I appreciated the souvenir we got after finishing - I think it's a neat memento and wish more games did this. Overall, this feels like an ambitious first attempt from a designer who's played a few escape rooms but has a different idea about how they should flow.

4 enthusiasts felt good, 3 might be doable. I think there might be too much for 2 to be comfortable.

The final puzzle was a little active, though I think they might be considering changing it out and YMMV

Escape the Wild West by Escape Veessen was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We played as a group of 6, two of us with around 200 rooms of experience each, and the rest on their 2nd or 3rd game. The mix worked perfectly for this game. The host/owner was incredibly welcoming and warm, immediately making us feel at home. After a short but engaging briefing and gearing up with cowboy hats and bandanas, we were ready for the mission. From the moment you step into the Wild West scene, you’re absolutely blown away by the level of detail, scale, lighting, and sound design. It’s a sprawling, non-linear game with loads to do, and it’s clear from the very beginning that this is a room built with love. Puzzles are thematically strong, every challenge fits perfectly with the setting, both visually and mechanically. The room is bursting with charm, and the funny surprise moments near the end elevated the experience even more. We were engaged the entire time, and having 6 players made it all the more enjoyable due to the puzzle volume. To top it off, we received a drink voucher for the bar and were treated to a platter of snacks, a lovely gesture after an already outstanding experience. Highly recommended in every aspect, especially with a larger group. A room that delivers fun, immersion, and heart in equal measure. A TERPECA level experience.

Loved the none linear structure of the game.
This was outstanding, really felt in the Wild West town.
The host/owner was incredibly nice and caring. Getting a free drink and some snacks at the end. What a magnificent way of finishing an experience.
