The Lost Tomb is fascinating even from booking, as you have to choose the Hero or Villain path. Upon entering the room, you notice a really atmospheric set with quality construction and fine details. There is some ominous narration, which would be much better if it were easy to hear. The intro video had this same issue, and it could be improved with subtitles. The puzzles were fun and tactile, though the laminated paper clues limited the amount of players able to meaningfully interact with any given puzzle. One puzzle with numbers seemed to contradict the in-world information we were provided. Occasionally, the set teased us with props, decoration, or puzzles that we never used (obviously meant for the Villain version of the room), though they didn’t cause problems with being red herrings. Most solves are well-clued and supported by impressive tech. This company is a wonderful part of the Phoenix escape room community and offers a level of polish and design that is satisfying to newbies and enthusiasts alike.
