PHOTOS HAVE SPOILERS This room was super great. Just an FYI, that this place is run by just two guys, Josh and Daniel. The room feels like a labor of love, as the set design is clean without anything out of place. Our GM was Daniel, and he was super friendly. They currently don't have recorded voice overs, so it's super funny that the narration is live (more Immersive with the story). This room is multi-linear, and I came with a group of 4 so we had 2 pairs working together on the two separate lines of puzzles. There's a lot of word locks which are of course brute force-able, but I like seeing the words in theme. There were a handful of puzzles that were unique that I have never seen before which were fun and novel. One thing that's interesting is how involved the GM can get, since as it turns out many of the puzzles aren't automatically triggered by scanners but rather a verification by camera. That allows more of a prevention of brute forcing which I think is really unique and takes effort. Also, they provide you a statistics graph at the end of the room which I think is the coolest thing I've ever seen at an escape room since you really get to see how well you did very specifically. Overall really enjoyed the theme of the room and how immersive it was. The final reveal was a little creepy and there are moments where the room goes pitch dark. But you also get ice cream at the end and a custom pin. Definitely highly recommend these guys and was personally worth a visit from me who is just visiting Sydney from the US.

Incredible escape room - so much care and thought went into individual puzzles. The room and props were of high quality and you really feel the love and passion that went into designing everything in this room. Josh was incredible and was super generous with his time and information during the debrief. Definitely a must try!
Lots of great puzzles to solve and the concept was quite new (Icecream!). I love the care and thought that went into this game design.
High quality props, environment and side effects.
I really appreciated the GMβs enthusiasm and passion. We had a debrief at the end with Josh and he gave us a proper, in-depth debrief outlining the our time against the average completion time at individual puzzle level - weβve never had that level of debrief at any other escape rooms and we could tell how invested Josh was in our experience. Thank you!
The plot was creative and all puzzles were related to the story.

We loved this room! A beautifully designed space with a lot of fun puzzles. Theme was incorporated well through out, lots of interactive moments and locks and keys along the way. There was a lot to do for a group of two, but plenty of moments where we could divide and conquer. Staff were amazing during our visit as well.

Havenβt played an escape room with such a cool vibe. Witty humour and each puzzle was unique in its own way way which made the ending much more satisfying

Really cool themed room. Multilinear puzzles if you like splitting up but we like taking our time so our group of four worked together for all the puzzles. Decently difficult/Interesting puzzles that required some thinking which is nice after doing so many rooms. Highly recommend

An awesomely designed room! Felt like you were in a real ice cream parlour. So many puzzles and different skills was never repetitive and the parts to work together and independently were awesome!
We were given a little extra time because we were only a group of 2. However the room was amazing, the first room puzzles were a lot of fun and the βclockβ aspect was cool!
The smoke affect, set design and just overall feel of each room really made you feel as if you were in an ice cream parlour. It was so cool!
Josh was awesome, we had met Daniel a year ago doing Seance and this time we had Josh both are so passionate and the effort and care comes through the rooms and their friendliness!
Not scary
A couple scare points but not drastic, just enough to get your adrenaline going

Sweetheart's Ice Cream Parlour is an excellent addition to Cool Space. They have really thought about what makes Escape Rooms entertaining and they have managed to pack quite a lot into the room. There was a clear logical flow to all puzzles, and plenty of opportunities for multi-linear progression, so really a great room for bigger groups or newer players, while still being manageable for smaller groups that have experience. Definitely recommend this for any level of experience though, an absolute must if you're looking to do an Escape Room in Sydney.
Great narrative built in to the game, really felt immersed in the room throughout.
Excellent level of attention to detail with the set design and props.
Josh was fantastic from start to finish, and gave us one of the best debriefs I've had for an escape room.

No spoilers, but there was definitely a unique addition at the end :)
Really well put together story. Excellent alignment between the story and the room, and the puzzles all felt aligned as well.

Our group was fairly experienced, so we didn't find too much of a challenge to the room, but we still had an amazing time nonetheless.
Mechanical
Definitely some high tech elements, but largely relying on combination locks for most puzzles.

Anywhere from 2 to 6 is probably fine, but having several opportunities for multi-linear puzzle solving allows for bigger groups to feel a bit more engaged.
Not scary
Maybe one or two moments of spookiness, but nothing that would be too alarming even for people who don't like scary rooms.

Most kids would be fine in this room, and there are several puzzles they could help with even if they wouldn't be able to see how the whole thing fits together.

Our team really enjoyed this one. The multi-linear puzzles gave opportunity for our team of 4 to divide and conquer, or switch puzzles if we needed to change our approach. Being multi-linear, there were plenty of puzzles to overcome but not too many where you feel overwhelmed. Everything logically fit so there's no confusion of mixing up problems. The puzzles were in line with the theme of the room and effects, both audio and visual, created a great atmosphere. The reward at the end was a surprising treat!
The puzzles flowed well and gave plenty of opportunities for all members to participate.
Fun props and which were very well placed to give maximum effect.
Georgie was welcoming and provided answers to all our questions after the event.

Our family enjoyed this. 8 is probably the age where they won't be scared by any events as well as being able to wholly participate in the puzzles
