You are a hardcore gamer and a regular at the INBLACK internet café—a place where virtual legends are made. Today was supposed to be just another competitive session with your friend. But the moment you log in, reality fractures. Your friend is missing. The only clue? A flickering screen showing a distorted, cartoonish version of him screaming silently from inside the game. He’s been pulled into a digital vortex—his body transformed, his mind trapped in a virtual dimension that wasn’t supposed to exist. This isn't just a game anymore. The lines between digital and real are collapsing. If you don’t enter the realm and find him soon, he could be lost forever. The countdown has begun. Plug in. Dive deep. Save your friend… or lose him to the code.

The interesting theme/idea of mixing video game and real-life is wayyy better executed here than in their Game Over room in Richmond Hill. The puzzles made sense and were fun/funny. The mechanics were different based on the blending of virtual space and the real space. And multiple players can be (and must be) involved and working together. Two big suggestions - the host gives A LOT of preamble of what you should do first and what all the rooms will be, which suggests there could be better ways at the game itself making you understand the world you’re in rather than a lore dump up front via the host. - as with most Inblack games there is a lack of polish to the rooms. It always feels a bit dusty/dirty or some props appearing very home made and/or well-worn (ex: permanent marker scribbled on props), For a multi-location business and the price I do expect a a bit more quality to the room on that end.

Unique game and story driven. Very linear so probably better for smaller groups if experienced escapers. Very friendly and enthusiastic staff. Game was smooth and functioned well. Entertaining overall.

We played this game with four people and had such a great time. The puzzles were super clever and different from anything we’ve done before. We loved how it mixes the digital screens with real-life clues, it felt super smooth and well thought out. Everything connected nicely and kept us hooked the whole time. Definitely recommend this one if you’re into fun, brainy challenges!
