You've been called to investigate a series of ritualistic murders that have the entire department on edge. The killer known only as "John Doe" has already claimed 2 victims, each killed in a manner that represents one of the Sev3n Deadly Sins. Time is running out and evidence suggests there will be five more murders before the deadly sermon is complete! It's up to you to find John Doe's real identity and stop these murders!

Did it yesterday and had a blast. We got out with 3 mins to spare. It’s kinda weird doing rooms that don’t have timers so occasionally we did have to ask for time checks to make sure we had enough time. On the spooky side but not scary. It also pays to see the movie recently before you play bc of all the Easter eggs and stuff from the movie. Our GM was Joseph and he was great and very helpful

A completely new experience from Deceptive’s sev3n. Full of puzzles, non linear, a nice difficulty. My group usually blasts through rooms but we almost didn’t make it out. There are some flow issues in terms of feedback but in the grand scheme of things, the experience was still fun and well worth it.
Lots of puzzles, some flow issues but overall very good
Allison was really nice!

Interesting room with decent puzzles and great setup. Just want to mention if you played Sev3n at deceptive games (DG), I assure you this is COMPLETELY 100% different room lol, so go ahead and book it XD!

I rate this room a 3/5 (ck out my bio for rating system). The set and theme were pretty immersive and did capture some highlights of the movie adequately. Not too scary for those who are easily startled (my ER partner🤭). It was a linear room and flowed pretty well dealing with each of the 7 deadly sins. There was a pretty cool puzzle device that we had never seen before. Otherwise, the puzzles were medium in difficulty and doable for 2 experienced people. I enjoyed the room mostly because I love the movie. If you're a fan of Se7en, this would probably be a worthwhile experience. Even had some of the original audio in it. And the ending is what you'd expect if you've seen the movie. If you haven't, it might leave you a bit confused!

Overall I did like this room and its theme. I just think there were too many locks. Also the lighting was very dim so it was somewhat difficult to see some clues for the puzzles. Game masters were very friendly though

Overall a good game. We completed it with two experienced people. I think it would be helpful with 3 or more because there are A LOT of puzzles and some of them can be quite time consuming. The room size is not huge but it can be overwhelming with searching given the sheer number of drawers and cabinets to search through. We probably opened and closed each of them multiple times to make sure we didn’t already search through them. There was one color puzzle which was confusing because one of the color clues was a bit ambiguous. Also the lighting was a bit dark for us to make sure we were seeing the colors correctly. There was also a fair amount of going back and forth between rooms. Despite these issues, we enjoyed ourselves overall and we look forward to their next room.

This was such a solid, interactive, and engaging escape room! I would highly recommend this room to Enthusiasts because of the complexities and amount of puzzles, the immersion, and the set design. I’ve played Sev3n before when it was originally at Deceptive Games, and the puzzles at No. 1 Escapes are completely new! The owner David does a strong job at creating new puzzles, relating them back to the 7 deadly sins, and the complexities and uniqueness while telling a story. This was by far my favorite escape room at this company because of its game play, immersion, and puzzles! My boyfriend and I played as a team of 2, and we were able to finish and escape, but this was by far the most puzzle heavy out of the other rooms that I’ve played here at No. 1 Escapes. I would recommend 2 advanced skilled players, or 3-4 beginners for this room due to the amount of puzzles needed to be solved. Overall, we really enjoyed this room! I cannot recommend it enough. David the owner truly loves what he does and you can tell how much investment and dedication went into this room. GO PLAY SEV3N!!

Beware: this escape room is very puzzle heavy, but there is so much to do! You’re engaged from the moment you enter the room to the moment you escape. You have to Peak at the finer details and really pay attention or else you’ll miss obvious answers. Each puzzle made sense to the story, was very fluid and smooth, and a variety of puzzle styles.
WOW! The set design was so immaculate and immersive. From the props, the hint system, and the background music, you felt immersed into the story. You could tell how much detail and investment went into this room because of its visual components, the set design, the functions, and production style.
We were fortunate enough to have the owner, David, as our Game Master. He was phenomenal! He was attentive, gave us appropriate nudges when we needed it, and I truly enjoyed his sense of humor as well. The hint system was definitely a highlight, absolutely un-phone-gettable!
This escape room is based off the 1995 film, Seven, and this room has some fun references from the movie. I enjoyed the different presentations of the 7 deadly sins and its incorporation of game play without distracting from the story. It told a story and in a smooth, exciting, and mysterious way.

i thought this game did a great job of not only continuing on deceptives legacy, but keeping it as enjoyable of a game as it was at deceptive. they traded out a small amount of difficult puzzles for a larger amount of medium difficulty puzzles. i’m a big fan of how challenging the room was without being frustrating. i almost always have at least one puzzle in a room that doesn’t make sense to me and i leave having a negative connotation with that specific puzzle, but this game didn’t have that! i thought every puzzle was well thought out and made sense. and while i have done a decent amount of escape rooms, i think the puzzles are just as doable for beginners. play this room!!!!
the linear change from deceptive to this game makes it perfect for all ranges of group sizes and experience!
definitely their best set design to date, loved the effects throughout the room and the hint system was a nice touch
joseph, our GM, was great! explained everything clearly and left us with a good understanding of the room and how we needed to complete it
followed along the lines of the movie very closely which i am a big fan of
Hard
torn between hard and expert, although i did only play with one other person
a good mix!
