55 escape rooms
Background: we are from Los Angeles, where we've done 50 escape rooms this year. We've seen a lot of great rooms. I didn't have a lot of expectations for this room. Overall, I have a neutral rating for this room. There were some good things and nice mechanics we liked, but they were offset by some ehhhh moments. I don't positively like this room nor do i negatively dislike it. It's a small room. Mix of locks and some tech. Overall it didn't feel like a lot of puzzles, but we got stuck a few times. Some puzzles required a little jump in logic that wasn't straightforward. Other puzzles we knew what to do but the mechanism was finicky or it was hard to read/see the clues. These moments took away our flow. Immersion. I was impressed that this was a designed set, albeit nowhere near Los Angeles level. But some things were built into the room, not just locks or standalone puzzles. But it's really really small. I'd recommend two ppl, three at the most. The storyline is kinda there. I see what they were going for, but it wasn't super great. The puzzles sort of try to loop in the plot. Immersion is broken because this business is really small. From the small lobby, you can literally hear players playing multiple games. That's because the "door" to each escape room is just a curtain. This definitely breaks immersion because you can hear all sorts of noises from the lobby or other games while in your game. I'm fact, while we waited to be accommodated in the lobby, we could hear EVERYTHING going on in a game that just started. Side note that this is a dim/darker room. Our GM was a nice dude. Overall it's a recommend if you really want to do an escape room, but be prepared for a mid-tier experience with some flaws.
Gameplay
It has good moments but jumps in logic and finicky puzzles broke our flow

Story
It tries. It's not super sensible to me though. It tries to be a dark, slightly gory version of Alice in wonderland. But no actual gore in the room, just in the storyline

Should be easy but we had trouble due to the reasons listed above
