You are... actually, you don't know who you are, wake up in a strange bathroom with no idea who you are—or how you got here. A disembodied voice calls itself "KAMI" and begs for your help to retrieve... something. You’re not sure if you should trust it—or if you’re even real yourself. Time feels broken. The walls breathe. And seriously—why is there a capsule toy machine in here?

I’ve done quite a lot of escape rooms over the past few years, and I recently tried Kami’s Quest. A couple things really stood out compared to more traditional rooms. First, it’s very story-driven — you solve puzzles as the story unfolds, which I thought was really fun and different. Second, the puzzles mix in some tech elements, and those parts felt pretty clever. Overall, I didn’t find the difficulty very high. Maybe two or three puzzles needed real logical thinking, but the rest were fairly straightforward. Still, it was a nice experience. I’m not sure what other escape room regulars might think, but personally I feel like this game is probably best for beginners.

Incredibly low quality set and themeing. Most of the clues consist of laminated paper and cardboard. Glaring typoes, audio cut out, names pronounced wrong in the voiceovers The weird toilet elements are absolutely a way to shoehorn a literal old toilet closet into some semblance of an escape room with minimal effort The audacity to charge 40$ for this experience is honestly crazy and I have nothing but "regerts" not looking up reviews first, don't waste your time and money on this

The one staff was very kind but didn't leave us much of a chance to look at clues before calling in with help we didn't ask for

Felt more of an interactive story than an escape room. There were maybe two thinking puzzles out of all the tasks you were expected to do, the rest was following instructions of a voiceover. The story was nice at least. This is a very very small room too so maybe 2-3 people max Also confused about the choice to have clues just be permanent marker directions scrawled onto some props. Felt like it really cheapened the room as it didn’t seem to be on theme. The company is expanding but I wish they’d put some more polish into their current experiences instead. This room is very rough around the edges. I’d feel sad if this was anyone’s first escape room experience.

Maybe it was just us but the room was very easy, virtually no challenge at all. The room itself was very small, so everything felt cramped and less interactive than it could've been.

Hi artemyk, thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback on Kami’s Quest. We’re sorry to hear that the experience felt too easy and that the room size came across as cramped and less interactive for your group. Kami’s Quest is designed as a more linear, story-driven game with a focus on logic-based puzzles, which means it guides players step by step through the narrative. This style works well for some teams, but we understand it may not feel as challenging or expansive, especially for more experienced players. The room itself is intentionally smaller to fit the theme, and the player limit is set with that in mind. We truly appreciate your comments and will keep them in mind as we continue refining both our puzzle design and room layouts. If you decide to visit us again, we’d be happy to recommend a more challenging, less linear room for your group.
