As your tour group shuffles past the condemned pier, you feel an undeniable pull, one that draws you beyond the safety of police barricades to the pier's edge. Waves whisper long-lost secrets, and you can almost hear sad ship bells echo, carrying the weight of eternal sorrow. The Sinkerman beckons. Another home run from the Escape Ventures folks. Really enjoyed the whole experience. Amazing, immersive set, wonderful diversity of puzzles, and lovely staff. One puzzle in particular that was unlike anything we’d ever seen.

One member of the group needs to climb. A couple of puzzles would be challenging for the colourblind. The owners very kindly put chairs in the room to make it more accessible for me (I have bad knees)

This was our first visit since Escape Ventures assumed ownership and we had been looking forward to playing this reinvention of the former Fisherman's Tale, a small room that we had enjoyed playing. We were not disappointed. The first thing we noticed when we arrived was the smaller lobby size, indicating that the small room had been significantly expanded for Haunted Harbor. We were warned that groups of 2 had been struggling to complete the room due to the number of puzzles, the most of any Escape Ventures room. There were a lot of locks but they were balanced by the number of sensors, triggers and special effects. We really enjoyed this game. Two thumbs up!

Gameplay

Gameplay was non-linear so larger groups could solve more than once puzzle at a time. Puzzles were fun and some were multi-tiered.

Atmosphere

The atmosphere was probably the best part of this room. Escape Ventures attention to detail was evident as soon as you enter the room. Sets, props and effects were spectacular and immersive. Lightning and wind effects feel real.

Customer service

Everyone was great, especially Sarina, our GM, who was very enthusiastic and added to the game experience.

I was little vague on a few details of the story, but overall, the story of a warf haunted by a fisherman was spooky and fun.

Lots of locks. Nothing overly complicated but a lot of puzzles to solve on 60 minutes.

Lots of sensors, triggers and effects. Lighting and sound is fully immersive. There is fog.

Challenging for 2 players even though we managed to escape. I would say 4 is ideal due to non-linear gameplay and the number of puzzles.

As I’ve come to expect from TEV, great theming, storytelling, and gameplay. Loved the use of lighting in the game. Very incredible and will definitely keep me ready and excited for each new TEV project! Our GM, Paige was fantastic! Thank you for being so kind and fun with our team!!

This was one of the harder escape rooms I’ve done but it was a lot of fun. The puzzles were a mix of challenging but also not. We had a lot of fun, and Paige was absolutely amazing as our Game Master! It was our first escape room at this location and was can’t wait to go back!

TEV hits another homerun. These guys continue to elevate the escape room game. This game flowed very well, was designed beautifully and had a ton of puzzles. Don't think for another second book this room asap.
