1 escape room
Number one-did we have fun…yes. That is most important. Was it the best room we have done…no. The rooms themselves were decorated great and fit the theme. I just personally like the more old school style of escape room for solving puzzles. This felt tech heavy to me, which is something I don’t particularly care for (and others may love!). I definitely think it is worth playing, and would think of playing more games here in the future. I just didn’t like some of the puzzles within the game itself.
Gameplay
This was unlike any other escape room I’ve ever played. Personally, I’m a little bit more old-school so a lot of the newer tech games I wasn’t particularly fond of, but that’s just personal preference. The games fit the theme perfectly and for people that are a little bit more tech savvy they’d probably really enjoy it.
Atmosphere
This is probably the most elaborate escape room that I’ve ever been in. You can tell they spent a lot of time focusing on the set design to make it as realistic as possible.
Customer service
He was very friendly and accommodating. I had issues with booking online and he walked me through what I needed to do and help me with some discount codes that I found. Sometimes the GMS don’t really add anything to the experience, but he made it where we would definitely come back in the future once the other rooms open.
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
This is the first space themed one that I’ve ever seen. It was part of the appeal of booking this particular escape room.
Story
My only knock to the storyline was that the parts the commander did felt a little bit long. The GM had already went over a lot of it before we got into the room, so it felt a little bit redundant and almost like a waste of our time to get it done.
Difficulty
Hard
We did it at the enthusiast level, so it was more difficult than a standard escape room.
Game tech
High tech
Ideal number of players
5
We had seven and I think that was just too much with the space in the room. I definitely think this would probably be better with the smaller group.
Scary
Not scary
Minimum age
16
I’m off bringing kids to escape rooms, but this one would just how the room was set up and some of the puzzles did feel like it was more for older kids. I think if you brought a younger kid, they’d probably like all the colors and stuff, but I don’t think that they would be able to solve some of the clues on their own
Was anything broken?
No
Live actors
No
Physically active
Not at all
Accessibility
We had two in our group that are hard of hearing so some of the beginning part was a little bit difficult for us to hear, but as you solved clues, it got quieter. The GM made sure to mention that none of the clues were color based to help the players that are colorblind. I think that for the most part if you were in a wheelchair, you would most likely be able to do this game, but it might be a tad tight depending on your mobility device.
Easy to find location
Yes

Easy
