We had a group of six all at varying experience levels, it was a really fun time!

This was a very fun, though on the easier side. This would be a great room for a group of kids or teens, or good for beginners

Really fun room. Great theming throughout and enough to keep us all busy. This room was a little on the easier side, but given the theming and difficulty level would be great for kids/preteens. We really enjoyed it!

Our kids were OBSESSED with this room. They were still talking about it months later. The puzzles were novel, the tech was high, and the overall experience was the same exceptional experience we have come to expect from Maine Escape Games. Definitely a must-do if you're in the area. Great for newbies and veterans alike.

You get to be a wizard. There are some puzzles that use this to their full advantage.

As with most escape rooms, I imagine hearing, vision, and color blindness could make it challenging. For mobility impairment, this is one of the more accessible rooms.

Of the three Iβve done at this location is was my least favorite, but only because the others were so amazing! Canβt go wrong at Maine Escape Games.

My small but experienced group had an amazing time visiting Maine Escape Games! The rooms we played there looked great and were mostly high tech, using little to no padlocks. This Harry Potter-esque room was a lot of fun and definitely brought the magic. For two of us, there was a LOT to do, and the room has a great mix of puzzle types with varying complexity. A couple of the puzzles were a bit frustrating, requiring a small leap of logic, but this was not the case for most of the room and MEG offers unlimited hints if needed. For experienced enthusiasts I would recommend a team size of no more than 3 or 4, that way everyone is able to contribute. Again, our team of 2 was able to finish with only a little help but we were both on our toes most of the time. It is a decent sized space though, so a larger group of newbies would feel relatively comfortable as well.

My children loved this room. My husband and I enjoy immersive rooms and this one did not disappoint. The puzzles were not too complicated for our 10 and 12 year old, but difficult enough for the adults to enjoy.

Very fun hour. Just hard enough for novice players. We did have one hearing impaired person in our group who couldnβt quite make out what was being said at crucial moments in the game and made one of the puzzles impossible for him. This one thing aside, Southport School for Wizards is a great room if youβre doing an escape room for the first time.
Loved the variety of puzzles. Not just all about finding codes to unlock padlocks which is always great. Lyre puzzle was probably the weakest for us only because we suck at this type of puzzle. Good family fun.
Very atmospheric. Feels like a wizard school. Dim lighting could be challenging for vision compromised players but your eyes do adjust by the end.
The staff at Maine Escape Games is super nice and friendly.
