Forsaken Temple

Darkness and going back and forth between rooms as a slow down mechanism. Puzzles were a little too “find and follow directions”

A very high tech room, I was surprised by how much technology was used in the making of this escape room and I guess this company as a whole? Very linear game but does require elements from a previous step. Crawling and going into small spaces required. Overall, great game with a nice storyline.

Always happy to do Omescape rooms! This one was no different. Lots of crawling, running (optional but we always do it), and teamwork. Very well done rooms.

My team really appreciated that this was an eastern Asian monk temple as opposed to other typical temple escape rooms. We don’t see that a lot in America. The room itself was fun, though not one of Omescape’s finest. Which makes it still a very room. The tasks were very unique and inspired. There is one repetitive action based on the day/night cycle that felt like a waste of time. I see why it exists, but having to go back and forth through long hallways was not my favorite thing to do. I liked getting rid of the evil spirits though! Felt very Kpop Demon Hunters. Felt totally legit!

Amazing game; tons of puzzles, great theme and a massive rooms, highly recommend.

Well done room with great tech and great design, but a smaller group would enjoy it more and have more to do throughout.

Strong and very unique puzzles. Story was alright. Really enjoyed it.

My least favorite at Omescape sunnyvale so far. Puzzling experience wasn’t the best imo. It didn’t wow me like the others I have done at this location. That being said it still has its moment. A lot of puzzles were fairly simple like the final one, but we also wasted an long time on the first puzzle

This was a great room! Lots of fun puzzles and mechanics. I also enjoyed the theme. We very much appreciated that they added a bonus puzzle for groups that solved the room more quickly, to give you a bit of a fuller experience. The only con I would say was that we accidentally solved a couple of the puzzles, rather than actually figuring them out. So it would have been nice to get to figure those out intentionally. But all in all this was a great room and we had a great time! Would recommend! (Truth was a great GM too! A lot of enthusiasm during the pre-game speech, which I enjoyed.)
