The year is 1929. One stormy night, Nikola Tesla vanished without warning, leaving behind a sealed laboratory and a series of unanswered questions. His trusted assistant, George, believed the inventor was lost for good—until a distorted transmission suddenly broke through. “…trapped in… another dimension… coil unstable… hurry…” Unable to complete the work alone, George has called you—the worldʼs most ingenious engineers—to help finish Teslaʼs secret experiment. Follow Teslaʼs research, stabilize the coil, and reopen the Portal within the next 60 minutes, before it collapses for good. Once it seals, Tesla will be lost beyond reach forever...

It was a really fun and challenging room with a great invention/technical theme throughout. There was always something for our family of four to work on, and we stayed in a good rhythm most of the game. We did need a couple small nudges at one point, but the puzzles were clever, satisfying, and very well designed overall. Big shoutout to the game master too. Super personable, encouraging, and great to talk with after the game. Definitely looking forward to trying their other room.

Impressive tech-heavy room. While some games may get the steampunk-y aesthetic right but feel a little flimsy when you actually handle props, this one had both the look and the heft to make things feel real. Great set and effects, good puzzles. My only nitpick is that it's easy to accumulate a pile of items you can't use yet because the room is nonlinear and there's something else you need to discover to make them useful. Juggling all that stuff without losing track of it is itself a puzzle, so I don't mind, but it is a little unusual.

Super fun great theme very original puzzles with no traditional locks all mechanical/electric devices. A step up from most escape rooms. Higher difficulty I would suggest 4 or 6 players. We did it with 4 and it was perfect for experienced players

Lots of fun! Immersive and non-linear - with lots of different puzzles for people to be solving at different times. Our group has a blast! Side note - I had emailed ahead of time to play 2 rooms back-to-back and to confirm the times I picked would work out. Once we arrived we were told we only had 40 minutes for one room and an hour for the second. So overall I loved the game, but felt rushed because our request wasn’t communicated to the GM.

This is another solid addition to Mystic's line up. Great theming. Good puzzles. Exciting climax. The story was functional and felt coherent. Bottom line, this is easily a Denver standout and would be a star-winning escape room in any market.

Great theming and set design and a very helpful and enthusiastic game master, Emma. Locating some details was a bit tough in some low lighting, particularly with two people. Good use of magnetism and circuits for a Tesla theme!

My heart was pounding the entire time! After finishing the Tears of Freya, we came back for the challenge of Nikola Tesla’s room and we were cutting it close to the 60 minute time. This is a non-linear room that could feel linear at some points. It requires all different approaches to puzzles and good scavenging skills. The feedback of the inputs is not as immediate as Tears of Freya but the mechanics here are just as impressive! So many unique features and I heard the game master say that they are considering giving groups 75 minutes to finish the room because of how many puzzles there are. Another great experience but Tears of Freya will still be my market standout because of its lore. The story got lost on me here but maybe it’s because I was too busy with the puzzles.
