Some legends are true. In the early 1980s, a new arcade machine called POLYBIUS was distributed to arcades around the Pacific Northwest. Shortly after its release, reports of strange behaviors by players began to surface; Whispers of mind control, government conspiracy, and living machines emerged. Then, all Polybius machines mysteriously disappeared. Decades later, an abandoned storage unit is discovered—its contents largely untouched. Inside, the space is filled with remnants and forgotten mementos from the 80s. A single arcade cabinet lurks ominously in the corner. Can you uncover the truth behind the legend of Polybius?

This room is fantastic! its fairly hard so bring your brains! id say 4 people would be the minimum you'd want (we did it with 3 and did still escape but had to ask for more nudges than we usually do!) the theming is so fun and nostalgic. Definitely recommend!

we found it ok, but i wouldn't say it was easy to find

We did this room with a group of six players, ranging from newbies to experienced players and I would say that this is an ideal number. There was so much to do and I’m glad that we had as many people and brains as we did. There was no dull moment. I genuinely felt like a kid again and it did help that we were transported back to the 80s. A non-linear experience that I wish I could forget just so I could do the puzzles and relieve this all over again. They mentioned to us that it would help to know 80s reference and this is true but there are clues to help if you do not! By the time we experienced this room, it seems like all the glitches were resolved because the pacing was perfect. The narrative felt chaotic at times but our game master helped us make sense of the ending. Expect puzzle heavy and get your game on. This one packs a punch but you will be sure to have a great time.

A really, really great escape room. Clearly built by hand with love. A perfect mix of gen 1 and high tech with an excellent game flow. No leaps in logic with a nice blend of difficult and fun puzzles.

Truly the best escape room I’ve done. So many great unique puzzles that kept us solving the whole time!! Shout out to Will, our game master, for making our experience so fun!

Highly recommend for enthusiasts and millennials. Super nostalgic room. It was difficult for our group of 2 because of the sheer number of puzzles but I loved every single of it. For new players, I’d recommend 4+. I think this is even better than their spellstruck room.

Non-linear room with tons of puzzles, some of which were unique, and great for lovers of board games/retro gamers! This room is definitely more difficult though doable with 5 (somewhat) experienced players. We escaped with about 5-10 minutes left with a couple of nudges. Overall, this room did NOT disappoint and is for sure in my top 5 rooms I have done in terms of puzzles & flow. Would recommend checking it out if you get a chance. Shoutout to Kai for being our wonderful GM :)!

Non-linear room with tons of puzzles, some of which, I have never seen before!
a room that looks simple at first glance, but packs a punch in terms of puzzles & theme!
Shoutout to Kai for having us :)
Hard
Definitely leans more difficult than previous rooms I have done.

We did this room with a group of five somewhat experienced players. We really enjoyed it. It was challenging, but doable. Everyone was busy the whole time (and we needed the whole time). Definitely some puzzle types we hadn’t really seen before and they all tied in well with the theme of the room. Our GM, Will, was awesome, too.
Wide variety of puzzles. Several were novel in my experience. Not just combo and key locks.
As a GenX, the props were awesome. 😂
Our GM, Will, was awesome. We said we didn’t want hints unless we asked and he honored that request. He simply occasionally announced how much time we had left. We did ask at on point if we were on track to finish the room, and he correctly said we were doing okay so far. 🤓

This was a solid room - don't let the capacity warn you off though. 10 people doesn't mean everyone will be doing everything at once but some of the puzzles definitely required unique perspectives and ideas. 8 would probably be ideal. Any retro gamers in your group? They would love this room, and their knowledge might even help y'all solve a little faster. Note the longer time though; my group of 10 did this room days after it opened and they gave us a solid 1.5hrs to finish the room. We are a competitive bunch and finished 30mins early but with a smaller group, or less experienced group, I can easily see this taking the full time. Only downside here was the mild lack of narrative. The other rooms made me feel more part of the narrative. Not sure if the GM was still testing the intro storyline or if they were rushed, but I didn't feel like I understood why I was there. Regardless, the puzzles were very fun and the entire room from top to bottom oozed retro vibes. Though I'm probably not old enough to get most of em. All in all, highly recommend for larger groups, or smaller groups with more experience. Less so for groups that love narrative.
