Permanently Closed - On your way to an important mission, your helicopter crash lands in the middle of nowhere. The Pilot does not make it and your head of expedition is severely injured. He sends you and the surviving members of your team to an abandoned station nearby to call for help. But this station has not been used for many years for unknown reasons, and is not much of a shelter for the coming snow storm. Can you and your team bring it back to life, and use its equipment to call for help before the storm reaches you?

Another short Quest Room game. Surprisingly difficult, mostly due to frustrating puzzle mechanics than true puzzle design. Lots of searching, and a cool ending. Glad to play before closure.

I really appreciated the unique theme and story of this room. It’s the first polar expedition rescue mission room I’ve ever seen, which is pretty great! My only complaint about this room is that it could use some more puzzles. We escaped with 15 minutes to spare (so only used 2/3 of our time), and we were not trying to rush through. That always leaves me feeling like I didn’t get my money’s worth from a room. That being said, I did enjoy the puzzles that were there.

Polar Station was the last room that we have not done in this location so we wanted to make sure we got a chance to do it before they closed on March 30. Thank you Quest Rooms Redondo Beach and AJ for the send off 🫡 The room itself only had about 5-6 puzzles that I remember but the puzzles themselves required survival mode out-of-the-box thinking. The puzzles felt non-traditional and really did give off the vibe that we were in the middle of nowhere. A simple room slotted for a 45 minute experience, unique in its offering compared to the other Quest Rooms. No live actor and purely puzzles.

This room was the most realistic experience. Not a lot of puzzly puzzles. They were more like tasks. It is a bit dark in some areas but there is a light source. Fun room and wished there was more to explore but it has a smaller footprint.
The set design was realistic.

Some clever puzzles but overall not too intuitive and a lot of things are hard to see and old pieces of puzzles that didn’t work properly.

We enjoyed this room. We would have enjoyed it a lot more except the volume was so loud that I almost started having a panic attack. We definitely would have gotten out more quickly had we been able to hear the different instructions and clues

A fun room with a true ‘escape’ theme. Not a lot of puzzles, but definitely feel like you are stranded and need to find a way out. Love the immersion and effects.

KD made this such a fun experience and we ended up doing really well on this room. Definitely a different vibe than any other room we've done and the puzzles were interesting

We got to Questroom 10 minutes before our scheduled time. The door was locked and a note said they would be back shortly. I ended having to call another questroom for them to get a hold of the guy. We waited a total of 35 minutes before he let us in. The room was good and the puzzles were unique but I was so irritated that I didn’t enjoy it as much as I should have. The room was also very dark so people with bad eyesight should probably pick a different room or ask for a flashlight from the start.

This room is full of interesting puzzles that are quite unique compared to the other quest rooms we’ve done. Some of the puzzles felt non-traditional but very immersive. We really enjoyed the theme. Overall the puzzles are linear and not all that difficult. The room is quite small, so I’d recommend maybe three players maximum.
