The world is collapsing into panic. An alien ship has crash-landed near area 51 – bringing with it a lethal world-ending virus. The surviving aliens were rushed to a secret facility outside Roswell, where scientists raced to create an antidote. Then – radio silence. The scientists disappeared without a trace. The facility sealed itself shut. No one knows if the cure was finished….or destroyed. Your mission: Infiltrate the lab, complete the research and find the antidote before the virus consumes the planet. Failure means extinction.

Wanted to leave a honest review because we had mixed feelings about our visit. First off, the set design and theming were awesome—you can tell a lot of effort went into making the room look great and feel immersive. That said, a few big things really dragged the experience down for us: Not colorblind friendly: So many puzzles relied entirely on color coordination. One of our teammates is colorblind and ended up stuck on the sidelines for a big chunk of the game because there were no secondary markers or cues. Broken puzzles: Two of the puzzles straight up didn't work, which totally broke our momentum and immersion. Game Masters were out of the loop: Every time we asked for a hint, it was pretty obvious the Game Masters weren't actually watching our room. We had to waste time explaining where we were at instead of getting quick nudges. The room looks incredible, but the broken elements, lack of accessibility, and inattentive staff made it frustrating. Really hope they tweak the puzzles and staff focus down the road!

Was anything broken?

Yes

2 of the puzzles were broken as the light indicators were busted, showing us if the puzzle were completed or not. The GM over-rode the puzzles allowing us to move on to the next puzzle. We were very confused and were stuck on the puzzles for 15 minutes+.

Alien Virus was a real puzzle fest 🧩 A puzzle first game. Multilinear, great mix of puzzle modalities and tactile feedback and clear signposting. A joy to play!

Loved this room! Clean lines in the set design with well-marked, colorful puzzles. Truly non-linear flow which we loved and fosters both collaboration and divide-and-conquer. Two puzzles had been damaged by prior groups but we were given a heads-up ahead of time and both were mostly playable. Our GM, Nicolas, was truly outstanding and readily supported when asked. Overall a fantastic experience!

Overall a good game. Not everything is logical, for example plugging something might activate a very unnoticeable light in another room! So you have to stay on your toes! A good amount of puzzles here and they are Non linear so lots for everyone to work on. Nice set design.
