The 49 Boxes [Immersive Experience]

I can't believe how much fun I had. Experiencing an immersive, interactive story of magic packed with so much fun, amazement and laughter with friends! This is incredible and everyone should at least try it once. Going multiple times allows you to also try the other puzzle and see different magic happen. Absolutely amazing prepare to be in your own magic show! Bring everyone you know it's worth it!

Wow. They did not lie when they said you will be amazed. Such an awesome experience, and Alex and Michael are AMAZING hosts and truly make the experience top tier! Shoutout to cloud escape for the space as well of course. It’s incredibly immersive and you’ll make new friends, learn new things, and see some spectacular things occur. Don’t sleep on this experience!

I appreciated this experience for the effort it took to put together and for how unique it is. This would be a great night out for a group of friends or even a date night, as just something unique that none of you has ever done before. This would be particularly appreciated by magic lovers, as all the puzzles are tied to old, historical magic tricks or objects that are ~100 years old. You won’t walk away with your mind blown, wondering how they even did that magic trick. But if you can appreciate how magic is done, à la Penn & Teller, then you should appreciate this. If you are going into this expecting an escape room experience, know that it is not that. This is a group experience where you are put together with a table of 6 people for the entire evening to solve all the puzzles at your table together. So if you’d like to avoid working with strangers, book as a group of 6 and sit at the same table together. You can even let them know in advance and they’ll reserve a table for your group to ensure you get to sit together. That being said, we came as just 2 and worked with 3 other strangers and still had a perfectly enjoyable experience. The other thing to know is that this experience is meant to be replayable. Your table is given 2 “threads” (series of puzzles to work through). So if you plan to come back, just remember which table number you sat at before (or the letters associated with your two threads from before) and you can plan to sit at a different table. I’d wager you can even request in advance to be seated at a different table and the organizers can arrange to make sure that happens.

What an awesome experience! The close confines of working with people across the table to solve puzzles with a hint of magic in the air has me wanting to come back and expeience all 49 boxes on all six different tables. Dave and Nicole were amazing hosts and Michael dazzled us with magic we have never experienced before.

A bold and thoughtfully designed concept! From the layout of the room, it was clear to see that there were 6 tables (maybe there were 7) and all the paths will eventually lead to the grand finale. I loved the story and the magical elements woven into the puzzles in the boxes. I’m all about the storytelling so the ambiance and the little tidbits of story added a fun sense of wonder and made the experience feel special. Now, with a large group, it was easy to have moments when there wasn’t much to do. We finished our puzzles quickly as a group and there were a few moments of downtime, even though the facilitators (our archivists) were clearly doing their best to circulate and balance the room. I was under the impression that there would be more collaboration between the tables or that we would get to do more than one table of puzzles. That said, the overall flow is fantastic and I’m still not sure how the finale works. I guess magic is real after all. It’s a creative and memorable experience that I’d still recommend. I just left wishing I’d seen more puzzles or more of the magic tricks.

I went to 49 Boxes at Cloud Escape Rooms this weekend and I’m still thinking about it. This is not a typical magic show—it’s immersive, clever, and genuinely surprising in ways I didn’t see coming. From the moment you walk in, you feel like you’re part of something special. The atmosphere is intimate and perfectly paced, and the magician does an incredible job of engaging the audience the entire show. The tricks are smart, layered, and often completely baffling—even when you think you know what’s happening, you’re wrong. What really stood out was how interactive and personal the experience felt. It wasn’t just watching magic; it felt like being inside a puzzle where everything connects in unexpected ways. The storytelling, timing, and attention to detail were all top-tier. If you’re into magic, escape rooms, or just love unique experiences that make you say “how did they DO that?”—this is an absolute must. Perfect for date night, friends, or anyone who enjoys being amazed. I would 100% go again and recommend it to everyone.

This was so cool! It's definitely not like a typical escape experience. It was something beyond that and very fun! I loved the group setting and the little bits of magic sprinkled in. Everything was so well done and whimsical. The space is also really great! 10/10 do it! This seems perfect, especially if you had like a group of 4.

Super fun and magical experience! Definitely different but the staff are so passionate about it and the overall experience was super fun and immersive.

The concept is unlike anything I’ve ever seen/experienced before and definitely NOT your typical escape room. As the description says, it is an immersive EXPERIENCE. The puzzles are great and definitely a bit challenging, but for me the locks were the most interesting part. Many of the locks you’ll likely never have seen before. They also have a photo booth!! I wish we could’ve gotten printed out copies of our pics though.

This was such a unique and magical experience! The team was so enthusiastic and involved and the puzzles were very creative! I highly recommend everyone to try this out there isn’t anything I’ve seen like this before!!
