It all begins with a top-secret mission from Runa Black: find out what really happened to her father Fenris. His alleged accident reeks of a cover-up – so you break into the Ministry of Mysteries and make your way to the memory archive, where the past comes alive as a simulation. There, you travel through Fenris’ fragmented memories, discovering clues and secrets. The deeper you dive, the clearer it becomes: the ‹accident› was no coincidence. A beautifully crafted space with multiple rooms to explore which are all themed around restoring some bodies memories. To further the immersion multiple audio inserts are used to progress the story and reveal more about what happened to the game's protagonist. Puzzles are well linked to the story and theme, but are not overly complex in difficulty or layering. We played with two and felt it was ideal for our experience level.

Das Erinnerungsarchiv is a really enjoyable game that gets lots of things right. It features puzzles that always feel connected to the space you're in, with some great "aha" moments. The story is told in a lighthearted way, with some clever foreshadowing; and the finale is just too adorable. It's a game that's as charming as it is satisfying to solve.

Such a fun idea, traveling through memories and solving puzzles in each, unique environment. It was very nicely decorated, and the technology was top quality as well. We were immersed in the story, and I found myself laughing along as well (what a lovely finale!). The puzzles were varied and clever, and there was a nice flow. This was my second room at Geheimgang 188, and I will definitely return for the rest.

The puzzles were excellent and very well designed, with a good variety that kept us both engaged the entire time. The effects were impressive and the atmosphere was very immersive – it really pulls you into the story. Everything felt polished and thoughtfully put together. We had a lot of fun and would definitely recommend this room.
