Will you escape Edward's basement? You and your friends have been kidnapped by Edward Tandy -- a cannibalistic serial killer with a fine taste for unique electronics, taxidermy, and of course human flesh. He has created a sick and twisted game of sorts in his deceased mother's home. He hopes to weed out the unintelligent and find those who are "worthy of escaping" by his late mother's standards. In THE BASEMENT, you and your team will have to employ keen communication skills, a finely tuned organizational prowess, and a general ability to keep your $h!t together under pressure if you want to survive. This is what we like to call a "funnel puzzle" where you will find numerous items and clues throughout the room. These items all come together to orchestrate your escape.

The Basement escape room was an absolute blast! The clues were challenging but incredibly fun to solve. The mix of linear and non-linear puzzles allowed our group to spread out and work on different tasks simultaneously. The atmosphere was both exciting and very spooky, adding to the overall thrill. Highly recommend for a memorable and eerie adventure!

I did this with one other person and we LOVED it. We made it out, but it was definitely challenging. The live actor was a bit terrifying at first, but really added to the overall experience. The prop set up was phenomenal and immersive. I would definitely do these again, but definitely not for the lighthearted

Did this room in 2017 with my mom (lol) and we had a great time then. Forgot all about it and did it again with a group of 4 and enough changed that I still couldn't make it out alive! But we had a great time!!! One of the best rooms in LA. A must do!

The live actors were done extremely well for this room. They’re there not just to scare you and put you in a mood but really adds to the atmosphere. Tried doing this with a group of 3 and it wasn’t enough, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

All the chapters were so much fun, so scary, so stimulating, and so realistic.

A relatively simple experience with a fairly route-one puzzle solving dynamic, but the degree of style and flavor they put in really puts you right in the position of a Saw-esque basement. A lot of fun, even if the degree of puzzles wasn’t exactly as much as most escape rooms you’d find.

The basement was lots of fun, I really enjoyed the way it starts off. The puzzles during the game could have been more engaging. I still like the elevator shaft and study more but the basement definitely is unique.

This is how you do an escape room! high production, high quality puzzles, and high quality people running the game. Definitely a must try for all enthusiasts! good idea to go with more people to search for clues.
