I enjoyed this game! With that being said, the style and design of this room felt very different from the other two rooms at Keepers of Balance and I’m not sure that I enjoyed this one quite as much. I think that the sets in their other rooms are more compelling but the puzzles in this room are still very good.
I would still recommend this room even though it isn’t my personal favorite at this location!
The gameplay in this room was pretty solid. I really liked most of the puzzles but there were a couple puzzles that were a bit repetitive. The ending of this room fell a bit flat for me even though it was clearly meant to be the most action packed part of the room.
All of the sets at keepers of balance are astoundingly immersive!
The game masters were very welcoming and kind but if I’m being honest, their acting was not very believable which did take away from the other immersive aspects of the room.
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
Unique plot and design.
The storyline made sense for the game design.
Some sections of this game were pretty easy, others were a bit more difficult. It was a good balance that I think most groups would be able to feasibly navigate!
No physical locks just like the other games at Keepers of Balance.
We had four people and it felt like an ideal group size.
Live actors
Kinda…the game masters are somewhat incorporated into the story.
Physically active
Somewhat
There is some crawling and some climbing but not every member of the group has to do everything.
Accessibility
There are some crawling and climbing elements in this room but I believe that they can be bypassed if needed.
