You've earned a second chance at freedom, but it's slim. About 3 months ago, Edward hired a man named John Peterson to help him make some "engineering changes" to an elevator shaft on his property. John quickly figured out that these changes he was being asked to make were indeed sinister in nature. When he confronted Edward, he was told that he could not leave until the project was finished or else his wife and daughter would pay the price. The project is complete and John is long dead. You've found yourself locked inside the elevator shaft. Will you and your friends be able to follow the steps John put in place for you? Or will you perish under the weight of a 6 ton steel elevator? This is the most technically advanced room The Basement has to offer. The Elevator Shaft delivers a level of realism and intensity that is unmatched in the world of Escape Rooms today.

A room where less people is necessary. I'd even say go as low as 3 people because the space is so small. Think about how you go into elevators. You don't like it when it's packed with people, right? There were a few puzzles that didn't make a ton of sense to me and the "water" feature of the room was not as grand as I'd hope it'd be. The only room with no live actor as well.

This was the room I was most excited for here and was unfortunately the most disappointing. It's not bad by a long shot but with a group of 6 people, there just wasn't enough for everyone to do. It does have some really fun elements and is very thematic but it just lacks a "wow" factor that they other 3 rooms here have.

This is literally one of the coolest escape rooms I've ever done. Super interesting, very atmospheric, high tech, with some of the coolest and most immersive puzzles I've ever seen.

An intense and claustrophobic experience. Out of all the games offered by The Basement, this one was a standout.

This was a small but really creative space. It has some elements that I have never seen in any other room and makes it feel like you are in an elevator shaft. The only thing was that when we played, the cables were not connecting correctly after so much use. We knew we were doing things right but it wasn't accepting the answer because they were quite old.

This was a really fun room and we really felt like we were in an elevator. The puzzles were fun and flows well with the previous chapter.

Very unique room. Not very many puzzles but still a very fun experience if you can follow instructions. Caution. You may get MOIST! π¦
