The Coroner

My friend and I decided to do a mini marathon of rooms here at Lok'd and started our adventure with The Coroner. The set was impressive and loved the coroner's office. Lots of nice touches with the decor and the themed puzzles. The puzzles on the other hand were a mixed bag. Some of the puzzles were great but too many of them were not intuitive or we just stumbled on to the answer. There were a handful of puzzles where I wanted to ask about how to solve it but by the time we were done it simply slipped my mind. I enjoyed the story and felt it was well incorporated into the game.

This room wasn’t bad but definitely not my favorite room ever. It could be scary for younger kids given the theme but it wasn’t over the top gory and fit with the theme of the room. Some clues/puzzles were worn to the point that it made them a little harder to work with and ate up a little too much time, but we managed to make it out!

Ok room. Disappointed with some of the technology that didn’t work like it should (hopefully we just got them on a bad day) plus with a group of 5 there was a lot of standing around with nothing to do. Some neat features but not my favorite (we still got out!)
