Great escape room for both kids and adults. We had one kid (8) and two adults. Everyone was able to contribute towards the victory. There was enough to do that no one was just waiting around. We were all involved.

Puzzles were challenging but not so complex we couldn't figure it out.
Atmosphere
We love Christmas so the theme was dead on.
Customer service
The two owners greeted us upon arriving. They were up beat and friendly before and afterwards. Great family!

There were 7 of us. 4 kids ranging from 8-13. We all had a blast! Everyone was able to participate and we escaped! Highly recommend for families!!

Very fun escape room. We did it on a rainy day with our two kids (6 and 9 years old). They had a great time and were able to participate in all the puzzles. We had a fun time!

Very fun. The flow was linear and made sense with the story line. The puzzles were fun, especially for the kids!

Immersive from the very start! The Christmas decor was nice.
Customer service
The staff were very helpful from the first interaction to the last. We called to find out the storyline and atmosphere of the game since our 6 year old is scared easily and when we left they gave us coupons for the local bowling alley (it was raining so we were looking for indoor activities).

7/10 The Christmas Countdown: Checked Twice is a charming room that works really well for all ages and families. It has a very cute story that’s easy to follow, and that story begins before you even enter the room. We always do appreciate when the immersion begins right away and Escape from Reality executed it very well. The puzzles tie nicely into the Christmas theme and successfully got us in the holiday spirit, even on a 90-degree day. That said, the room is quite basic overall, with straightforward puzzles that don’t offer much challenge for experienced enthusiasts. Because of that, we’d recommend pairing it with their other room(s) if you’re looking for more difficulty. It’s a perfect “first room of the day” or lighter experience. We had Whitney (one of the owners) as our Game Master for both rooms, and she was fantastic. Her energy and love for escape rooms is contagious and really elevated the visit. We’re looking forward to coming back when their third room opens!

Ho, ho, ho!!! It was Christmas in July and I, for one, loved it!!! This was our second room of the day and an amazing way to end our time with these great people! While I think enthusiasts would enjoy this room, families and first timers will find this an incredible adventure!! The set is adorable and filled with delightful touches that put you in the perfect Christmas spirit. All of the puzzles are delightful and fun to complete. Be careful though, it is possible to solve some puzzles early and it can leave you a little confused as to where clues are leading you. There is a surprise second section that I will leave for you to discover on your own. Bring your kids to this great room and prepare for a great time! I love this group and their rooms and I can't wait to see what they come up with next.
