Outlawed

While this was good, it was your typical jail themed room. I don’t particularly feel like anything in this room set it apart from other jail themed rooms. This room also has the same flaw that most of the other rooms at this location suffer from. Puzzles that don’t flow well, having to try combinations on multiple locks until you figure out which one it’s for because there are no markings. Overall still had a great time!

I was a bit hesitant to book seeing other reviews, but this escape room is under new ownership as of the past year (per the game master) and overall, we really enjoyed Outlawed! The puzzles were fun and had a couple of unique elements I had never seen before. Our group of 8 had plenty to do and the opening scene actually splits you into two groups, which was perfect for our team. Overall, really fun time!

We have done a bunch of escape rooms together but the flow of this room had us scratching our heads so many times and did not seem logical to us. I liked the theme but not the puzzles.

Not all clues were obvious and we used a couple of hints. This one was harder for the kids second one.

While the first room in “Outlawed” provided a good physical challenge, the remaining spaces were a bit underwhelming, and at times, confusing. Many of the puzzles were dated and needed updating, which left us asking the GM to clarify many of the puzzles and clues. Our GM, Daniel, was fantastic and provided some comic relief during our experience.

Overall, a pretty good game! If I had to give it a rating out of 10, I would say a six out of 10. I’ve seen some of the puzzles before, and I have been in rooms with this particular theme, so nothing super new or different. Our game master was really helpful, and, it was nice considering that the people that I was with were brand new to escape rooms in general. I like some little puzzles, especially where you go to get the keys. Something seemed a little typical of a western room, but otherwise a pretty solid room for people that are just starting off in escape rooms. If you or anyone that enjoys alcohol, it’s definitely a change of pace to be able to drink while you’re trying to escape. ☺️

It was pretty decent, interesting puzzles

This game was probably a 6/10. Out of the 4 rooms I played here this was probably my least favorite as it was fairly simple in theming and game play. A great game for first timers or newer players to escape rooms.
