All these years later the building still suffers from strange and unusual circumstances. It is no surprise that we have been certified as a paranormal hot spot in Denver. HD Escape Rooms has painstakingly recreated Emily's quaint room in an attempt to make contact. Will you come and play with her?

42 escape rooms
One small dark room that had a collection of lockboxes and some puzzles that were quite hard to figure out. Instead of getting GM help, you had to use an app on your phone for clues which took away from the gameplay vibe. Room had a creepy vibe but wasn't necessarily scary, unless dolls creep you out.

This was one small room with not very many puzzles. Lots of lock boxes and nothing all that creative or challenging. Theme was cool but it kind of fell flat at the end, we didn't know it was solved/over until the guy came and opened the door. Absolutely do not bother.

Probably the worst room we’ve done so far. Way too small (one, very tiny room) and it had zero air ventilation and no AC. There was one ineffective box fan in a corner… so yeah. If you’re a completionist and plan to do all the rooms in Colorado, save this one for either the last or when you are desperate? Hard pass, otherwise.
Gameplay
It’s always a bad sign when the employee has to come in and fix things that aren’t working properly. Nothing note worthy or exciting. Overall lackluster. If you ask for clues, don’t expect them to be prompt or to be caught up where you are in the process. Our clues were constantly two steps behind where we were actually at. And we waited for several minutes for them to be given.
Atmosphere
The room is super tiny. It was almost too cramped for just two players! We almost died of heat exhaustion. Not really, but could have. The room was hotter than hell. We did this room in July… so don’t do it unless it’s winter.
Customer service
The guy was super nice but always seems too busy, juggling the three rooms, players, phones, fixing broken parts of puzzles mid-game… etc.

Ugh. Yes. Towards the end of the process, the final puzzle wasn’t working. We spent extra time trying to get it to work (we were doing it correctly). The guy came in the room and basically messed with it until it worked for him. We lost at least 15 minutes between that, the clues not being given when asked for, or the clues being “flipped” through until it was where we were in the process.

VERY small room, I wouldn’t do this room if you have more than 3 people. Did this around Halloween so I was hoping for more of a horror feel to it, and it missed the mark. Not scary, and very underwhelming.
