Nikola Tesla discovered a profound secret about our world: it is destined for extinction. Tesla tried to save us by creating a “timeline switch,” an extraordinary invention that can switch us to an alternative timeline in which our world survives. There is one problem — the powers that be are trying to find Tesla’s new invention and keep it for themselves. Explore Tesla’s study area, use his secret passage ways, and transport yourself through space and time. Find out where he hid his timeline switch, then use it to save our world just as he intended. But you must hurry! The powers that be are returning in one hour, and if they find it before you do, we will be stuck here forever!

The game play got a liiiittle clunky in the middle, but overall a really creative experience!

Tesla was such a fun escape experience. We had a large group of 8, which may have been too many (or maybe that's a personal preference?). Only two from this group had done escape rooms before so it was fun helping new people try it out! Our GM was great about giving helpful hints to nudge us in the right direction without outright giving us answers. The puzzles in this game were a little tricky at times, but that's to be expected as it was listed as their hardest room at this location. We managed to escape with less than a minute to spare! Also, this room was so well decorated. The theming was top-notch, and there was one point where most of the group wanted to stop and take pictures inside because of how cool everything looked! (permission given beforehand by the GM to keep phones and take photos) We will definitely be going back to Architect to try out more rooms!

Yes! One of our early experiences and we loved it! It's a good finale room to the architect rooms!

Tesla’s Secret is certainly my favorite game at Architect so far because there was so much room to work with. The puzzles were entertaining throughout and the style in which they were delivered were different compared to other Tesla-related rooms I’ve done. Though it was their hardest room, my buddy and I made easy work of it but had a great time.

Tesla’s Secret is a mad scientist themed room, and bears only a passing relation to Nikola Tesla, it’s mostly science in general. Some clever puzzles here. GM was helpful when needed. A nitpick… we were given the usual “no need to use more than two fingers to move an item” but in reality a large prop had to be overturned to find a clue. We spent far too long NOT moving it because of the instructions. Also, not a huge fan of rooms in which players are separated with no way to get back together without solving a puzzle. I’m disabled and sometimes I need help with puzzles… if my partner is locked away, we could end up stuck.

The mirror room was my favorite and the game master made me feel real smart. Some of the room feels worn and not updated, and it hinders the game since we know what items have been worn enough to warrant them being part of puzzles.

Overall, there are some good puzzles…but the overall theme wasn’t there. Lots of science, but not necessarily with Tesla. I think a story change would help this game.
It had some good puzzles for sure but the story could be better
Set was good and puzzles were good.
Staff was great

I love the idea of Tesla in a game. There are so many wonderful inventions he wanted to make which could’ve been the secret…but none of those were used. I think the story could be changed to make this game better
