This game is incredibly unique. If you’ve got 2 groups of friends to play with, it gets very competitive and tons of fun to mess with the other team. The puzzles here and theme are really well done. This is the most fun experience I’ve played. It’s not really an escape room, it is more a competitive challenge against another team.

Interesting twist on the escape games. So you can play against another team or against the computer to solve puzzles and launch attacks or defend against them. It’s a small room and you solve puzzles to launch attacks. It’s interesting the only struggle we had was understanding when the puzzle was completed. The doors open but sometimes so many doors open it’s hard to figure out which ones are new ones or if they opened.

This room was definitely different than what we at Escape Junkies are used to! The competitive nature and the complex puzzles create a challenging atmosphere that is sure to be fun for larger parties and friends looking to battle it out with wits!
The gameplay was definitely interesting. You enter into a whitewash room with cubes that eject from the walls when a clue is entered correctly. The clues are somewhat challenging yet fun, and the fact that you can’t accidentally unlock something or complete a step before its intended use does lend to the game having a great flow.
The atmosphere was…ok. We didn’t -dislike- the atmosphere. However, we didn’t love it. It’s just a whitewash room, as described before, with a massive computer console.
The staff was kind. No one was like remarkably exceptional, but we definitely didn’t have a negative experience.
Yes
This is the point where we believe this room really shines. We recommend that everyone bring a big group of friends to try this room at least once, because the style of it is unlike anything we’ve done before. If your group is large enough, you split into two teams and face off in a race against time. If your group isn’t large enough, you either face off against another team of random people or the computer. The fact that this room mixes a competitive element, where your actions -directly- impact those in the other room, lends to an incredibly fun, unique and competitive experience that we believe everyone should experience once.
There was very little story involved, but as stated in the interesting or different section, that is not the point.
Medium
Challenging puzzles for beginners, but since we’ve done multiple rooms, they felt mediocre.
Mechanical
Not much high tech, outside of a large screen. A -ton- of mechanical pieces, however.
8
We recommend more players for this game, as even though we didn’t get to do it with friends in both rooms, we can imagine it would ramp up the competition even more. We don’t know if the player limit is 8 per room or 8 total (4 per room), but either way, the more the merrier.
Not scary
Definitely not scary. Just more adrenaline-pumping from the competitive nature of the room.

Definitely child friendly.

Not at all
Just one room, not very physically demanding.
Very. This room is very accessible for those with physical or mental impairment issues, as there are no slopes, changes in height or steep climbing, as well as no crawling required or tight spaces. There are no hearing-specific clues, but there are multiple color-coded clues, so those who suffer from color-challenged deficiency may wish to bring others who can assist them through the puzzles.

The location is inside of the Opry Mills Mall in Nashville, and if you look up a map of the place online, it guides you right to it. Word of advice; if you go, park in the lot closest to H&M and Chuy’s Mexican Restaurant. This will put you closest to the Escape Game.
Limited
Because of the fact that it is in Opry Mills, there is next to no parking. Come prepared to spend a few extra minutes trying to find an open spot.

We weren’t sure what to think about the competition style escape room, but we had so much fun “sabotaging” the other group! This is a really novel, unique set up and great for large groups if you’re open to splitting up :)

Another incredible game by TEG! This is a concept I’ve never experienced before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. It took a minute for me to fully get what the objective was and how to accomplish it, but once I got the hang of it, the pressure was totally on. Sure, you’re pressured against the clock in a “normal” escape room. But this adds a whole ‘nother level when you are competing against your friends AND the clock! I felt pressured to rush and make quick decisions, which is exactly what I’m looking for as an adrenaline junkie!

My team won!!!! What a fun way to make a competitive escape game!

For me… this game was absolutely phenomenal. If we played the entire game I think this game would have been in my top 5. But we double booked and had to end the game early unfortunately. I fell in love with this novel idea. It’s definitely a cross between two other games I’ve played and this game is meant for a large group. So bring friends. The gameplay of this was so fun and this game could actually be stretched into a longer experience. Not a typical escape room but the puzzles were a lot of fun and this game was all about being a competitive bully. Have fun with this one.

This is a one of a kind experience. Not only must you solve puzzles (at least 2 I have never encountered before) you must strategically plan attacks and defenses against your opponents. Very exciting and quite challenging. The staff were able to explain the rules (it is a little more in depth than your average escape room) and were extremely friendly! We were on the fence about doing this room. I am so glad we did it and want to recommend to anyone who loves escape rooms and is looking for something different. Has a high tech feel but doesn't rely solely on the "bells and whistles" - puzzles flowed and made perfect sense.
Good flow, reasonable difficulty.
Extremely immersive
I cannot say enough how great the people were here!

My favorite escape room of all time. We did 2v2. The concept is incredible.

I have played all the games by The Escape Game with the exception of 1. Sabotage is one of my favorites. It is in top 5 if I were to rank all the ones I’ve done with them. Like people have stated it is not like a traditional escape room. It is designed to be competitive. We (group of 2) played against another group of 2 and won. I like the number of puzzles and there is definitely strategy that goes into the gameplay. So if you like competition and puzzles then this is the game for you !
