We were told that this would be a unique one, playing against a machine- and I was skeptical and wondered if I would enjoy it. I did! Super unique and a very interesting game. Not traditional, but give it a try!

We really enjoyed this escape room! It's designed for two teams to compete against each other, with the first team to reach the target score winning. If time runs out first, the team with the most points takes the victory. You earn points by solving puzzles, as well as by successfully attacking the opposing team or defending against their attacks, which adds a fun competitive twist. We played with just two people in a single room instead of competing against another team, and it was still a great experience. We had a lot of fun working together to solve the government case and never felt like we were missing out. The room itself is a little worn and could use some updating, but that didn't take away from the experience. Our Game Guide, Charlie, was fantastic—friendly, engaging, and helped make the whole experience even more enjoyable. We'd definitely recommend giving this room a try!

Very different game, not a typical escape room. Similar but not the same. I found it more difficult than any of the other offerings at TEG. I don't know if it was the "type" of puzzles but this one was tough. We "won" with plenty of time left but we also made some great choices during the game that helped us.

The game has some wear and tear that could use some TLC.

I very much enjoyed the concept and implementation of this room! The theme of 2 groups competing against one another to solve the same puzzles more quickly than the other group was fun. I liked the ways you could attack the other group or defend against them. This would be very fun to do with a competitive group of friends. (Although one group will always lose to the other, so some may not care for that element.) All that being said, we were visiting from out of town as a group of 2 and had the entire room to ourselves, which meant we played against the AI. I still enjoyed the game immensely that way and believe that we got the full experience, getting to complete all the puzzles. So I would still recommend this room just as heartily with only 2 people. As for the puzzles and theming, I enjoyed them all. Not the most challenging difficulty, but still enjoyable.

Definitely a unique game with the 2 teams competing against each other.
A fun story to drive competition, which was a fun element to add to an escape room.

Probably 6 - 8 players, or 3 - 4 on each team. That being said, we played with 2 vs. the AI and still has a lot of fun. I think we still got the full experience, but I think it would be even more fun to compete against your friends.

Fully accessible from a mobility standpoint. There was a puzzle with color elements that likely would be very challenging for a color blind person, as even we had some difficulties interpreting the colors without that condition, haha.

Inside a mall, but it wasn’t too tough to find using Apple Maps for directions.

This is a very cool concept! Normally in escape rooms you have to work together not against each other. The basic way to win is one of two ways: first team to 70 points or the team with the most points at the end of the hour. I like to use almost the whole hour in escape rooms. If I escape with too much time, I feel that it wasn’t challenging enough. When I played Sabotage, my team reached 75 points with 17:33 left on the clock so the game just ended there. We had more puzzles that we could have completed. It felt a little disappointing that we had so much time left but didn’t get to continue.

Our group of 3 had a lot of fun playing Sabotage. Although we played against the ai, the concept was still fun and the game master helped us out with a part where we had to interact with the opposing team. The puzzles were all interesting, unique, and mostly multi-step, and felt super rewarding once you made the mental connection. Although the room is small, there is no lack of surprises because with all the white panels you never know which ones will pop open. Overall this was a very unique game which definitely exceeded my expectations.

My partner and I had to play against the AI but we still had a lot of fun. We did have some issues with the doors popping open or not finding WHAT popped open. Still a fun/unique experience

Sabotage is truly such a fun room. Our group consisted of four people and the opposing team was a family of three, which included a 9 year old. For the vast majority of the room, your team is working alone. You are actively racing against the other team to solve puzzles, and have the ability to send attacks to the other side. That being said, at one point there is an option to communicate with the other team, and ours told to tell the truth and commit to a truce... which the family did not do, after claiming they would. The 9 year old learned a lot about honesty that day--his dad looked very guilty that he had double-crossed our team, and we ended up with almost double the points of their team despite their betrayal. Lesson learned, I hope. Great room, would be extra fun with a very large friend group or bachelor/ette party!
