I have played all the games by The Escape Game with the exception of 1. Sabotage is one of my favorites. It is in top 5 if I were to rank all the ones I’ve done with them. Like people have stated it is not like a traditional escape room. It is designed to be competitive. We (group of 2) played against another group of 2 and won. I like the number of puzzles and there is definitely strategy that goes into the gameplay. So if you like competition and puzzles then this is the game for you !

This was so fun! Completely different game style than a traditional escape room but if you love puzzles you will love this room. I personally enjoyed the collaboration and teamwork within our room as well as the competitive aspect with our arch nemeses (aka best friends) next door. I can say, although my team didn’t win it was still a lot of fun and we enjoyed the puzzles!

Staff was AMAZING! We loved this game, would be great if you had several people and wanted to compete against them. The Escape Game never disappoints.

This is a game you can play against another team or AI. Not like anything we have done before. We played against the computer and had a blast!

This is a cool, innovative room. It's set up as a competition between teams, which is different from most rooms. The design is neat with how new puzzles are revealed, and how you send and receive challenges between teams. Because it's competitive, you probably want more people than normal for the room. Two teams of 3 is probably ideal.

Really loved this room! Was worried how it would play solo as it’s meant to be a head-to-head, competitive experience but was pleasantly surprised at how fun it felt. Obviously the story and theming of puzzles (nonexistent, really) aren’t the stars here as it’s the competitive nature of dueling against your other friends that makes this room unique. Even without that, you’re able to “battle” an AI and just race to solve all the puzzles. Despite the easier nature of puzzles, it was a fun experience and unlike most other escape rooms. Definitely give it a go if in the area!
Very unique concept but still clearly an escape room. Super fun!
If you’re okay with a white-walled room, then yup, you’re in for a treat. No real theming of the puzzles but it didn’t detract from the room.
TEG staff was great as usual. Had an issue with a piece of equipment malfunctioning in the room and the GM let me take home one of their to-go games for free at the end as a consolation.

I completed this solo with just over 16 minute remaining. With any decent sized group, this room shouldn’t pose any trouble.

Having 4 people to split up 2 and 2 is probably the ideal for this room

Sadly a computer keyboard was broken at first so the GM had to type whatever I wanted to type remotely from their office until it started working again later.

Loved it! So different from a typical escape room. I’ve always wanted “a white room filled with puzzles” and my family pointed out to me that this room was my dream come true. The rules seemed complicated but once we started it all made sense.

Get ready to go head-to-head in an adrenaline-filled escape room experience! We had two teams of four and had a lovely time; our side won and got to do all of the puzzles offered. Really great for enthusiasts looking to shake things up from a linear/non-linear escape room.
This game is definitely a change in pace from typical ones— each side is an identical and complete escape room, but the competition element is what drives the experience.
Everything was very clean and professional, but given that all of the walls are white, it made seeing what door(s) opened after completing a task difficult— especially as the game went further along.
TEG staff always makes for an epic experience! We felt right at home.
Yes
Hard
Puzzles themselves are medium, but adding in the element of rationing out your competition strategies AND the high amounts of communication necessary in the room, I’m calling this one “hard”!
High tech
There is a high-tech point system that the room has built in. Do know (they tell you beforehand!) that the game ends when a team has enough points OR when time runs out, so if your side loses you may not get to finish the room (even with time left).

Sabotage is nothing like TEG's other games. It's a competitive race room. Two teams enter two identical rooms and compete to see who can complete the room with the highest number of points. Points are earned by quickly solving puzzles and using the codes that those solves generate to attack the other team. When the first attack happens, a window opens up between the rooms so that the teams can see each other. Teams are also given the option to compete against a computer simulation rather than another team. The centerpiece of the room is a giant screen above a control panel. The room was a lot of fun, and although there weren't multiple areas to explore, many doors opened up to allow the room to continue to evolve.
