Happily Never Ever After is the sequel of Happily Never After and an escape tale that recruits our players as henchmen to the storybook villains who have been wrongfully accused of a crime they all say they didn’t commit! As an homage to the classic whodunit murder mysteries, this popup escape game is as immersive as our full 60 minute escape rooms all while being confined to a narrative based inside The Author’s tent. D2E is known for our immersive storytelling but for this we’ve left the storytelling up to you all, the players! Below is just 1 of over 125 possible endings to your game! Can you help solve the crime before the royal guards arrive and arrest you all? Do you Dare to step into our storybook world of deception and intrigue?

This was my first pop up room and I had a great time with it! The theme of the experience is super cool with a variability spin that makes it even more interesting when you compare to other players! This was set up in place of their Paper Company room and I couldn’t tell that it was the same room! The decor and puzzle brought in make you think it is in fact a permanent room! We had some hiccups along the way which our game master was quick to help us out with but overall we had a great time here!

fun little pop up room! only thing that threw my group off was the gm resetting behind us and then we got confused on what we did and didn’t do.

What a charming little room! It’s certainly not a very large room but there is plenty to enjoy about it! It’s a good room if you and your friends all want to do a puzzle as it is not really linear!
