Our second game at Studio Escape is one of the most impressive escape rooms we’ve ever played! Really strong story, creative puzzles that make perfect sense in the well-utilised space, and mindblowing tech and special effects. Super fun experience with laugh-out-loud jokes and cinematic aesthetics. Deserves all the praise!

As the owners are originally from UK, the rooms are catered for both Japanese and English language, and it is smooth. The hosts are great and very helpful. This room and all the other rooms within Studio Escape are one of the best I've ever played. The stories are compelling, and the decoration are top class. The price of the rooms are high, but these rooms still gets my highest recommendation!

Great room! Puzzles were relatively straight forward but high production value and immersion.

One of the best escape rooms I’ve done. It is clear the makers love what they are doing, if you have time chat to them about how they built it. Not the most difficult but took two of us most of the hour to get out which is my ideal. Really unexpected moments and would highly recommend.

‘For Queen & Country’, simply put, is an incredible escape room that holds cinematic moments for any player lucky enough to experience it. Wickedly funny, surprising and wildly imaginative, ‘For Queen & Country’ delivers golden-era ‘60s British spy bravado and gimmicks thick and fast. The puzzles transcend the standard types to focus on making the narrative cinematic, with the players always in the spotlight. I can’t sing enough high praises—if more TERPECA nominators and voters travelled to Japan, Studio Escape’s experiences would rank high on the list.

Studio Escape is one of the best Creator for Escape Rooms. I recommend this room for English speaker. Unfortunatly, Japan's Escape Rooms are required you the skill of Japanese and Deep understanding of Japanese culture. We usually refer to escape rooms that also require Japanese language skills as escape rooms, and overseas those that only have physical gimmicks as the main feature are sometimes called Shanghai type.

I do say, our second room back to back at Studio Escape and another certified BANGER. Another stunning room, the set was truly incredible. The puzzles all related well and made sense within the space although we did have a little bit more trouble with some of the tech stuff in this one. The storyline was funny and well crafted, packed with sinister reveals, evil laughs and even a personalised message from the Queen. What more could you want? I love what Studio Escape are doing and can’t wait to come back for Shadow Zen which was unfortunately out of commission whilst I was on holidays.

We were fortunate to do this room, along with their newly reopened Madam LeClare’s Seance room during our trip to Osaka. We weren’t sure what to expect but we were blown away by both rooms! This room contained the stronger puzzles and had more of a traditional “escape room” feel than their Seance room but both rooms were incredible and worth going out of your way to do if you’re traveling in Japan. The tactility, creativity and narrative focus in this room was so satisfying and contained plenty of “wow” moments that I have never seen in any other room. We never thought we would be comparing an escape room in Japan to rooms like Man from Beyond and Servants of Sleight but here we are! The humor, physicality and plot of this room elevate it into the top tier of rooms I’ve ever done. The GMs work really hard in this game and the care they take shows. We met one of the designers and they took the time to show us a little bit of how both rooms work and were so kind. We will make it a point to visit their rooms again on our next trip to Japan, whenever that may be!

Loved it! How the story flows and the detailed design in the aesthetics has made this one of my favourite immersive escape rooms. Each puzzle was also very fun. I will be definitely recommending this room to players who love immersive escape rooms! Definitely one of the best that I've played so far!
