Temporarily Closed - BECOME A MADE MAN A unique twist on the escape room formula! It’s 1929 and you've been ambushed by a rival gang of robbers! They’ve locked you in the cell of your own safehouse and set a bomb to explode in just 20 minutes! Your goal is to escape the cell and collect as much money as you can before the time is up! Your boss “Jimmy the Jackhammer” has it hidden all over the safehouse, so it shouldn’t be too hard to find, right? This escape room is packed with puzzles and is designed to be played several times. For this reason, no clues or end-game walkthroughs are given. Great for escape room and puzzle enthusiasts!

Interesting premise for a short 20-minute room! Instead of trying to escape, the goal is to find as much cash as possible within the time limit. You can find cash by solving puzzles and searching. There is even a leaderboard outside. There are a lot of puzzles cramped into a tiny space, and it’s not really that feasible for smaller groups to find all the cash on their 1st try. The game encourages replayability, but because the puzzles are the same, it feels more like it’s just coming in with inside knowledge to score high rather than “replayability.” Replayability to means the experience is different each time, and that only really holds true if you do different puzzles each time. In which case, why not just make it a standard longer room that makes you do all the puzzles? The puzzles themselves are fun and well-themed. It also manages to be super non-linear so it doesn’t really matter which puzzles you solve or in what order. Just get rich quick! This room will probably be more exciting for competitive groups. It’s quite different at least and the 20 minute limit is probably a sweet spot even if I would have preferred close to 30.
