Like a magician, this room expertly guides your eyes and attention to believe the limited square footage is much grander than what actually appears. Each puzzle is creative, satisfying, and tactile. Slowly unraveling the intriguing story that snakes its way through every moment. This room is intimate. Max of 3 players, preferably done with 2. Make the trip to Arcane Escape Rooms. The Ghost of Mentryville is worth it alone.

This is a must-play, period full stop.

Bro how have I missed out on playing this game for years? It’s truly one of the best games I’ve played in a long time, absolutely rock solid storytelling and puzzles that tie everything together. I think REA put it best as “The best escape room in California that nobody has played”. Go play this game, seriously. Our GM was Perigee and they were absolutely fantastic. Best experienced with a group of 2-3.

This game throws a massive wrench in the common belief that single room games are not "good". This was an amazing game and I am really glad I got the chance to play it.

A masterclass in doing a lot with a little. This room gave more of a comprehensive experience than most escape rooms I've done ten times its size. Amazing acting as well. The actor matched our energy and tone expertly and gave us an experience that I'll never be able to forget.

This is one of the greatest rooms I’ve ever done. It captured a creative energy and concept I have explored in my own work. To see this working and existing is an incredible feeling.

A very different kind of room. It’s much more centralized in terms of game play and story based. So you actually have to tune in to the story, there’s no rush to finish. It took a moment to get used to. Definitely a change of pace. We enjoyed ourselves.

Excellent room, great actor, and logical, linear gameplay!

This room was amazing. The guide was very informative and immersive. He was gentle with the way he’d lead us while letting us figure out how to do the puzzles. I’d recommend this room if you want to feel like you’re in a story and while solving puzzles. This is not a timed room, so you have to want to do this if you’re interested in good story telling. I’d recommend this. It was also a refreshing change from the usual escape rooms. A unique experience.
