8.5/10 Based off of the genre defying 1973 film, The Exorcist, prepare yourself to be front and center of this cinematic universe. As the main characters you will be doing everything in your abilities to save this poor girl from the demon that posses her. In reality, you will be doing everything in your abilities to get out alive. The acting. I mean the acting! This room can not be performed by just any actor. These are acrobats. Stunt performers. You will be wowed over and over again by the sheer physical prowess these actors have. The space and production are top notch. The puzzles are somewhat challenging. My only issue with this room was the flow. Some of the connections between puzzles could have been stronger. But puzzles and riddles take a back seat to an experience as intense and jaw dropping as this.

Despite being one of the older Athens’ horror games, this game is still one of the best. They are still original in comparison to the other local rooms we’ve done. This is by far the best exorcism room Ive done. Her performance was like a movie. The actress did phenomenal. Her makeup was great. I accidentally walked in on the actress before the room while she was snacking & the makeup was done so wonderfully that she was exceptionally creepy despite the humorous situation.

Movie like experience. We had a blast

Not often do you have applause breaks during an escape experience, but we were so wowed by what they did with the acting, set, story, and surprises. Yes, it's scary, but the actors were having a great time and so were we.

El Exorcista is one of my favorite rooms. The actress' performance was the highlight of the experience, though the set and tech was also great and the puzzles were... fine. While I can't imagine replaying most rooms, I would go back to El Exorcista just to watch it again - in my mind, it's closer to immersive theater than an escape room. I would consider this a must play for anyone visiting Athens. I'm not a horror fan so I was worried I wouldn't like it, but it's more about scary things happening around you rather than to you. The plot follows the movie (or at least I assume so, since I haven't actually seen it), so if you've seen it you probably know what you're getting in to. The execution is top notch and does a great job recreating scenes. There were a bunch of jump scares - not the usual sudden loud noises (though there were some of those too), but more along the lines of "Gaaah! What the hell just happened?!" We played in English with no problems.

The room itself is excellent, puzzles are fantastic, ambiance is incredible and the decorations are excellent. The game master and actors were great, gave outstanding performances and helped push us in the right direction when necessary without breaking character or killing the vibe at all. Had a great time and would highly recommend this room

Really great actors, we had an amazing experience! Wonderful direction, and definitely gave us many scares. The decor was creepy and fit the room well. The puzzles used the room really well and were fun to solve. Definitely recommend this room!

One of the most intense horror games I've played. Great acting and effects. On the other hand, after some time, it becomes really repetitive, decoration of some rooms was not really immersive and the ending that came after one of the best moments of the game kinda killed the experience.
