The Collector's Curse

This room’s reputation as Adelaide’s toughest is well earned, though not necessarily for the right reasons. It’s a relatively small and old traditional room with mostly locks and keys, with sprinkles of tech throughout. Much of the difficulty stemmed from puzzles and locks being all over the place, and it was somewhat chaotic figuring out the correct order and flow. Some puzzles were straightforward; others were complex or hampered by tenuous connections or lack of signposting. I’d definitely recommend a larger team (we had 4). We ultimately enjoyed the experience because we were lucky that things clicked on the day and we finished it without hints (nearly needed one), setting the monthly record, but I could easily imagine an alternative scenario where the puzzles didn’t connect for us and we ended up hating it.

This was quite a difficult room, with a high amount of tough puzzles. I can understand why people may dislike this room, as getting stuck is quite frustrating. Nonetheless, we still beat this in 35 minutes and found the experience challenging and refreshing. P.S. we broke the monthly record!

Going into this escape room we didn't realise it was one of the harder rooms that Adelaide has to offer. Our game master warned us that it would be tricky as the room had many locks and difficult puzzles. We enjoyed that the room was not linear which challenged us to do different puzzles whilst still working together. Our favourite part however was the engaging storyline that the room had, how we had to collect different items and find a verbal passkey to exit the room which was great. We could tell it was one of their most played rooms as it looked older and had some wear and tear with the quality of the room although all puzzles still worked great nothing was broken. Overall great experience. 7.5/10

THIS IS COMPLEX! Only has a 5% escape rate. You have to be pretty well versed in escape rooms and work very very quickly. Definitely incredibly difficult.
